Question which s. Skrull assist should i use on my hawkeye(triple arrow), skrull, wesker(gun otg). Ive been using orbital grudge for gtfo move for on point hawkeye, or for wesker teleport mix up. But lately ive been wondering if tenderizer or stone smite would be better options.
Stone Smite is really only great for combo extension which you’ve already got covered with Wesker. Tenderizer is best used for incoming character mix ups by forcing them to block. I dunno how much Hawkeye gets out of air throws but I doubt it is so much to make it where he doesn’t have any good neutral assists.
I think you’re best off sticking with OG.
Generally, OG is the best assist. And my personal opinion, I think you’re wasting hawkeyes assist if you use him on point. I think you’re better off with either skrull or wesker on point, just coz triple arrow is really really good
Tenderizer though protects hawkeyes head pre emptively, and you can choose it depending how bad you’re getting jumped in on. But if you’re controlling space with jumping triple arrow, it might not be so useful. And I haven’t tried it yet, but does calling stone smite, and then doing slide-launcher (generally very unsafe?) suddenly make hawkeye safe? Because of the delay of stone smite before it hits. Although if you’re already doing safe blockstrings with poison tip, then stone smite isn’t so useful either (outside of combo extension)
So I was wondering if super-skrulls meteor smash can smash a trish or doom out of the top corner of the screen. You know when they camp up in the top left or right screen after a super jump and lame you out. I’m a nooblet and have been having a problem with this. And was wondering if the skrull could be the solution in my ghost ride/sent team.
Yes. They are not safe up in the sky when Skrull is around cus he can meteor smash their heads. However, dont meteor smash predictably when doom is on the ground cus he can just do his up super and nail skrull out of the air. But if doom is in the air theres not much he can do to beat meteor smash. I hope this helps.

I have a question, I need a good combo that does not incorporate stone smite and ends with inferno in the air. I’m running a team of Skrull/Frank/Raccoon. I want something good I can do off Pendulum into skrull’s S. Right now I’ve been doing A2, S j.MMHS, pile bunker S, j.MMH Inferno. I can’t shake the feeling that there’s more I can do but I can’t use stone smite because pendulum hits and wastes the wall bounce. I need the inferno to hit in the air I think so I can land a DHC whiff pie picture with frank but I’m not even sure about that yet. Any help is appreciated.

When I get elastic slam, what is the best follow up? I know the easiest is Tenderizer :l: I know air :d: :h: works, but can’t get it out 100% of the time. do I have to air dash?
Second air :d: :h: hits I know I have to dash mid screen, but can I just hit :s: in the corner? If I time the dash after the air :d: :h: I can only connect with st:l: but 50% they pop out after that. Does st:l: cr:l work better?
Thirdly getting stone smite to connect. Then again I think that’s just a timing issue. I know I have to delay between air and air :h: then another delay for air :s: I did find that GR{b} assist helps to close the gap.

There’s plenty you can do after elastic slam, such as tenderizer, stone smite, skrull smash (jumping down H) or meteor smash. I always prefer doing down H. Elastic slam places them far away that you either need to dash or airdash. I recommend airdash. I’m guessing what happens to you a lot is you jump but skrull does a kick instead of dashing? It’s because you’re pressing dash too early in the jump. There’s a height requirement before you can airdash (as with all characters). Elastic slam puts them in a hard knockdown state anyway, so don’t rush your button presses.
Secondly, if they’re in the corner, no need to dash after down H. Launcher should hit. If midscreen, I find that the easiest button to connect with is standing M. Maybe you should try that and see how it goes. It’s not the most damaging though, since its a two-hit attack.
And finally, stone smite is a timing thing. You either delay the jS or you delay your jump and continue with BBCS regularly. If you wanna get the feel of the timing of it, or see the timing of it, you can practice this in the corner: s.LMHS xx jump xx airdash jH delay jS land stone smite. See, the airdash cuts your jump short which allows you to land faster.

You can dash up then tenderizer so you can launch them after the ground bounce. If you’re trying to do Air Down+H(BPB) I personally do a ground dash, then jump then BPB, but other player prefer the airdash instead.
Yeah just hit :s: in the corner. No need to worry about dashing unless you didn’t land near the corner. From midscreen, if you’re having trouble with the BPB, you can dash and do ST. . Doing :l: will flip them out depending on the character and how much hitstun is already in effect.

I was wondering, why isn’t Vajra and Skrull used? You get a full combo off of it if vajra hits close and get a free super if it hits ANYWHERE on the screen. Plus the reset ability with Vajra and his command grabs look dumb in theory.

Don’t worry I plan on using it on a even more fucked up broken team I don’t want to reveal YET… But I have no clue how to play Skrull or much about him atm so I wanted to see if there was something bad about it that I was missing
Skrull is a meter hog, and Strider needs 3 meters at the end to become some kind of threat. Though if you have a battery character as 2nd, you have a pretty good team.
Skrull/Doom/Strider would be pretty broken.
I think Skrull/Doom/Ammy is close. I might mess around with that team for fun.

Sort of need a quick question answered.
I block a meteor smash and the skrull does not follow up with an Inferno. Punish? What is the frame disadvantage?
Frame disadvant for inferno? I block that crap all the time and i am clueless with how to punish. (sigh)
Inferno is the worst one to do if someone blocked a MS. It’s more unsafe than torch, but I don’t know how many frames since I don’t own the guide. Careful on punishing a MS because torch has invincible startup after the flash. Best thing on punishing a MS is not pushblock it and to grab Skrull since it’s one frame.
You can dash and launch after you block an inferno. If you got rapid jabs, can dash jab to confirm your punish.

There’s no shortcut, but alternate ways to do it. Pressing Down+Forward three times will let you do it without the first dash and the forward, forward, back, back, forward really fast lets you backdash and do it.
