I’ll go practice more Hook from his Dunk :D. Skrull is plenty fun! I still got a question, I’ve been trying to do H elastic grab while opponent’s character comes in after the previous character go down. The question is if this is avoidable at all?
If you do not push a button you are immune to grabs.
Here is a question for everyone. After watching Ageojoe playing Viewtiful Joe and Rocket Racoon and his setup there (he does triple jump with Joe and called in the log trap assist from RR). With this idea and the fact that you can air X factor. Is it possible to do meteor smash (generally M) then X factor and air dash. This allows you to know where your opponent is (since you should turn around as well) and call your assist into an air meteor smash into the corner. I just turned my game off so I cannot test this, but does this seem like a viable mixup?
How about block? If he just press and hold back, would he still be immune to grabs?
Yeah. If he doesn’t attack or dble jump/fly then he’s invulnerable to command grabs. It’s better to do an air grab when you a ground assist to cover you. Try doing ground grabs if the person coming in doesn’t have another jump or flight.
Thanks dudes! I’ll have to work around more with skrull’s grabs :).
Been thinking about it, are the double Inferno combos off of Flame Sweep worth doing?
If you can do it, then do it to save meter from using a level 3. That is, if it’ll kill them, otherwise go with the level 3.
I have some questions about Super Skrull’s combo…
Right now I’ve been doing this combo:
L, M, cM, cH, S, s.jump, M, M, H, S, dash, jump, down+H, dash, S, M, M, H, S, Teleport, Inferno
I am having problems with the part bolded. Other than in corners (where I don’t need to dash), I seem to have problems getting this when I’m not in corner. It seem to work sometimes while the opponent will drop out before the S at other times. Any help? Also while watching Nasty’s new skrull video, I noticed a combo but I also again, can’t seem to do it. Need some advice. This one involves his Stone Smite OTG as a second relaunch.
L, M, cM, cH, S, s.jump, M, M, H, S, dash, jump, down+H, dash, S, M, M, H, S, land, stone smite, charged air special, rolling hook, Teleport, Inferno
The issue I have with this is the 2nd relaunch. I understand that the air series needs to be delayed but in this case of a second relaunch, delaying the air series doesn’t seem viable at all because the opponent techs out once I delay any hits of the air series. I’ve gotten down the timing for using stone smite as an OTG to relaunch, but it doesn’t seem applicable in this case. Any help?
Also I’ve noticed that in the some of the combos, there seem to be an extra cH before the S in the first combo listed. I can’t seem to get that to work either, cH pushes the opponent too far away unless they’re in a corner.
When you do your first air combo with :h::s:, the timing for the relaunch is much stricter. Usually in my matches, I do air :h::s: so the ground dash :s: since the relaunch isn’t too hard to do. Unless you’re in the corner then its too easy not to miss.
Also, after Rolling Hook, you can cancel to :s: then do air :s: then air meteor smash for extra damage.
Oh that sounds good, I’ll give it a try.
And as stated in the previous post, am I doing anything wrong for this:
L, M, cM, cH, S, s.jump, M, M, H, S, dash, jump, down+H, dash, S, M, M, H, S, land, stone smite, charged air special, rolling hook, Teleport, Inferno
I can’t link Stone Smite in this combo, I can’t delay my MMHS before that because delaying it by any bit would cause the opponent to tech out in the air.
This combo can’t be done since you used your ground bounce with Down+:h: so if you tried to do Stone Dunk, they’d just flip out.
When you’re doing a long combo and you wanna do an air series to Stone Smite, you don’t delay each button, you delay pressing any button for a short period, then pressing the buttons at regular speed.
Here’s a piece of my guide to help you out:

although, in the middle or in the corner you can just delay the S in the air combo, i just do, S>SJ>wait a bit>M>H>wait a bit>S>SS, its makes it a bit easier imo
That only works if you’re doing it in the beginning of your combo, after a relaunch delaying any button causes them to flip out.
yea since the hitstun scaling, i should have mentioned that xD
That video is great! Thanks but for that combo… I realised I got the notation wrong at some parts but its essentially similar,
L, M, cM, cH, S, s.jump, M, M, H, S, dash, jump, down+H, dash, S, M, M, H, S, land, stone smite, S, sjump S, Teleport, Inferno

I automatically imagined a stone dunk but I guess I got it wrong. Anyhow, my problem is landing the stone smite. The opponent flips out in this combo before I can land the stone smite, I can’t delay the 2nd MMHS because the opponent will flip out mid air if I do so. I am perfectly able to get stone smite out in this combo:
L, M, cM, cH, S, s.jump, M, M, H, S, land, Stone Smite, Air Charging Special, Rolling Hook, S, s.jump, S, teleport, inferno.
However in the previous case, the 2nd relaunch with stone smite would fail because I’d land too late, and delaying it doesn’t seem to be an option because the opponent will drop out if I do. Any tips? I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong…
And while I’m in the topic of combos, I’ve got a few questions, which is Skrull’s most optimal BnB to do? I understand that the 2nd combo that I posted seem to do a good deal of damage, but I’d only be able to connect some of the stuff while I’m in corner. But what if I’m off corner by the time I land the air magic and do the stone smite? Whats a good way to combo afterwards?
Also I have another problem, at times when I do catch the opponent at near max range with rolling hook, and that he happen to not be in the corner (mid screen or something), how do I continue combo from there? I tried meteor smash, but if he doesn’t happen to be in the corner, he’d be knocked too far off and even meteor smash L/H can’t reach them.
EDIT: Since I’m already posting a barrage of questions, might as well… I’m currently playing Wolverine / Frank / Skrull, usually I use Wolverine to level my frank to level 4 in 1 combo if possible, but in some cases my wolverine do fail to get frank to level 4 and I might either try to use Skrull to level frank up, or just play frank alone. However I’m not sure of what sort of set up skrull can have to help level Frank. Do anyone here have any suggestions?
My fellow based skrulls I have a question that needs to be answered which may decide the future of our basehood. The question is:
Do bitches love based Skrulls?
I have checked some of my sources and they all say yes. Please my fellow based skrulls, answer ASAP. Please cite your sources.
The ability to extend any part of your body to any length is very useful.
Bitches love Based Skrulls. One time I went to a club… err snuck in since I’m not old enough… and I told everyone I play a Based Skrull and I went home with all the bitches.

Guess they didn’t know you play on pad. Schwangg
