Great sagat and Adon Zen. Adon arm could use more work and gesture also. Sagat looks real good though, but shift his head to our left a little. I think blocking with his forearm rather than his hand would look way cooler.

If i am doing a serious piece I usually run anywhere from 5 to 10 full sketches before I actually start anything. Starting with shapes is the way to go when mapping out an idea. great work so far guys.
12: that was the first sketch i did of the two of them fighting. i knew the pic was flawed in a lot of ways, thats why i didnt bother putting any shadows or highlights. dont worry its the initial sketch, i plan to practice doing a few more before making the “official” one.
hitshiro: 12 offers some really good tips. i like the fact that you dont add tremendous detail to your sketches. also, i wrote this earlier, but try and finish your sketches with the least amount of lines.
sfmc: thnks for the advise–i’ll take it into consideration. i know about the head and i really didnt feel like erasing everything and fixing it. i got that whole block-attacks-with-your-hand thing from watching the alpha movie. i think its pretty lame so i’ll drop it for the next pic.
also, i do the same thing. i am trying to draw a prince of persia pic, but i have made so many sketches to get the poses just right. still workin on it.
great advice!! i tend to focus too much on the eyes cause i think it’s the most important, but tend not to focus much on the rest, yeah i really don’t like a lot of detail on my work, it’s too much, and sometimes it kills the drawing, lol sorry 12 the look like prismacolors, i love those markers hmm gestures are really important, i been told that a lot but didn’t really pay attention, thanks

Yeah you know me Munta I’m always scheming. Since Bison and Akuma are my favorites I told him to draw either or, but if he is feeling kind draw both hehe.
Oh and enter all you want. Enter 2 or 3 of them if you can also, and the issues after that and so on.
Don’t really do many full body shots, what with this small tablet and the small oekaki drawing area, if I end up drawing full body pics, its usually a naked chick. :lol:

Maki has a very cool dizzy animation. Chang (&Earthquake) must be the hardest fighters for Capcom & SNK to animate. Massive & a complicated chain. (Though it doesn’t appear when he swings)
I’m using pastels (no colored pencils). Poor Maki.
