comon sfmc, i really didnt mean it. it doesnt matter if you enter or not. it’ll be fun if you do.
this is a character i created a while back. i wanted to get a feel of how he would look so i made a simple sketch. i am not really concentrating on detail as much as i want to stress the pose and attitude. anyway, tell me what you think.
Man that looks pretty damn sweet. The jacket is awesome. Good piece and great simple pose. Definitely caught the mood.
awesome… I like what you’ve done with the characters. There’s a nice sense of flow going on, composition is nice too. Suggestion though - maybe turn Birdie so he’s facing his grabbed opponent, with a scowl (esp with his lips!) or other expression of aggression on his face. I think it adds a more dynamic feel to the pic than if he was just looking forward. See the edited attachment (I didn’t redraw the angle of his mohawk - too lazy ;P)

may I suggest Cannon Spike vs Akuma’s dive kick (forward jump, d+MK)? Cannon Spike is a great move for drawing because severe contrapposto + high kick = highly dynamic move. Dive kick is awesome due to the pose of Akuma’s hands. Great thing about these 2 moves is that you can probably get to show both their facial expressions.

that sketch is sweet… nice flow to them threads. I sense his feeling…as for the Competition thing, I take it all as inspirational- coming up with new Ideas and creative sketches, - Its nice seeing so many drawing styles clash all at once- i dont have a problem with it at all, its all in good fun to me-
eg: if evryone in an art forum had an assignment to draw ONLY Yun(SF3) and Cammy in a fight scene, honestly it would be interesting to see how everyones rendition of those two characters in battle would look.

Oh and dangit I already finished the birdie and ken pic, but I do have Birdie tilting even more than the sketch and looking at ken. Not quite as tilted as yours, but i hope it works. Knew I should have tilted it more. Need to throw a background on there now.

nice sketch deo. alex’s left arm and his shoulders look good. his abs look great too. though always remember that the “trunk” of a person generally needs to be big. the only place you really need work is the pectoral area (between the neck and the six-pack). and as far as the remy pic goes, i think it he’s supposed to be a little thinner. his face looks pretty good though. try and implement these changes before you color it in, because i know you will color them in real soon, lol. nice job.

i have been trying to get in some poses for a prince of persia pic for the longest time, but i cant get the pose right. this is just three out of dozens that i have done so far. enjoy.
after seeing that nice-ass Guy pic, dun by JaL, i wanted to make a sketch myself. it didnt turn out the way i wanted. i think i made him way too big. ninjas are supposed to be lean and fast. well, anyway, it came out really gay, but i’ll post it anyway.
