Sub 1 frame HDTV/Monitor Input Lag Database

LCD HDTV? All LCDs have lag, but the lowest one I can think of is the Sony 32w700b(w705b/w7006b depending on where you live) has around 4ms with the camera test and 14ms with the Bodnar tester.

lcd or led. thanks ill check this out!! any others? also how old is this tv? can i still buy it?

2014

seem like its only available over seas? i guess America doesn’t offer that size?? Unless i messed it all i see are India sites…

I bought mine here in Canada at Bestbuy, don’t see why it wouldn’t be in the USA either

That’s the only place in the US that apparently has the TV for sale that I could quickly find. The US only has the 720p 2014 model Sony TV’s at major retailers but not the 1080p ones from what I can find.

I did find the AVForums review that stated they tested the lag.

The question now is do you want to spend $600 after tax on a 32" TV?

^ Should be directed at STK.

I quoted you because you said it should be available in the US and it’s actually not through most common retailers  But I figured he’d also see the post since he’s probably following the thread.

The smaller sizes of the recent Sony Bravias aren’t nearly as widely distributed in the USA as they are in most other countries, from what I’ve gathered in other forums.

See https://github.com/FelipeLema/display-lag-scraping

You’ll have to modify it to search UK-EU websites

thank you for the help. sucks that seems to be the only tv. now i have to decide if $600 is worth it?! lol. thanks again.

is this the same tv or did i get crossed somewhere? there no “b” after the 2W700_ part

Never seen it without the B, but specs and all look the same to me.

OK. Ill have to look into it. Thanks.

Any good places to buy a new CRT? I’ll probably be needing to get a replacement sometime soon. I’m mainly looking for another 20" screen to play old console games.

NEW? Very unlikely.

CRT screens are no longer made, you be lucky to stumble onto some NOS or New Old Stock (unsold, old but still new condition)
You are better off looking for LIKE NEW or USED IN GOOD CONDITION.

Try Classifieds, Cregs List, Thrift Stores and Pawn Shops. Most people don’t want to even ship CRT screens anymore.
You can also try eBay.

I just wondering, if i measure 720p led tv using 1080p leo lag tester, will the result going wrong?

yea try your community thrifts or something like that. you find that stuff in there all the time.

No, just realize there will be a little extra scaling lag, so 720p will be a tad slower than 1080p.

buy a panasonic viera series plasma. they’re discontinued, so you can probably find some good deals on them. the only downside to a Plasma is glare in a well lit room. Thats not even an issue with the newer models though. The new 4k displays are finally catching up to the PQ The Panasonic Plasmas put out.

Where do you live? I think Best Buy should carry them still, and they have a great return policy. Otherwise Amazon has them, again with a no questions asked return policy.
