Check out my review of the UE32EH5000 here.
Added new user review section after the new mr PMed me with the idea. Let me know what you guys think about keeping it. Seeing as it is very subjective. (if you showcase hard proof like Arapozo did above it goes in the normal list of course)
It’s really a pain in the ass to find up to date proper HDTV reviews that showcase a recent tv that has low input lag.
And, I know a lot of the TV’s listed are out of production however I keep them on the list just as a reference. If you guys have any ideas in this regard please post them.
Nice work! Added.

[*]WC* Can you imagine the response time lag?
SK what i was gonna say lol
Tekken 6 Australia We’ve tested it and it runs fine on the projector. Hard to tell if there is any input lag, but this is a massive 30K projector!
FS just sounds a bit like it’d be hard to play on a screen that big
Tekken 6 Australia You’d think so but when you see it in person it’s awesome!

Hi, can someone please confirm for me if the S2230MX monitor is as good as the Dell S2330MX. I’m asking it because for me the only difference seems to be in screen size, since the model is the same. But I may be wrong.
If we had this monitor here in Brazil I would go in a store and test it myself, but unfortunately for us here this monitor can only be purchased direct through Dell’s website or by importing. As the second option looks pretty attractive, because of its price in the U.S. I was wondering if anyone that has it can confirm if the input lag is as low as the S2330MX.
Thank you.
Hey guys, I just bought a new monitor for my 360, but didn’t know anything about input lag.
It’s a Samsung S20B350H.
It /feels/ good but that’s not an accurate test lol. Does anyone know anything about this monitor and could give me a hand here?
That’s the monitor I want. It appears to be a beefed up refresh of the VG278H which had a 6.5ms input lag rating on Prad.de @ 120hz. Assuming it’s the same PCB that is simply overclocked to 144hz then that could make this easily one of the best large screen monitors for gaming period in regards to not only input latency but also lowered eye strain.
I think I may just take the dive with this one.
It would be interesting to see if it makes a difference over the 120hz model. Hopefully it doesn’t because i only just bought 3 of the vg278h monitors to use at lans with my xbox’s.
Well you can’t really do worse than the VG278H. Even if the VG278HE is slightly better it won’t be by enough that anybody would actually care. So I wouldn’t worry about it. Baller ass monitors man, good choice
Yeah they look great. I don’t actually play fighting games myself but i bought a ton of stuff to use at the lans i go to and the vg278h got some good reviews here so i picked up 3 of those.
That was the rest of the stuff i picked up for people to play on at lans. Only thing that has changed is i replaced the 2 fat consoles with slim ones since that pic was taken.
Haha, nice man. That’s some serious cash. And here I thought I was free with my wallet. You destroy me! I bet your people will truly love all that stuff you got.
Yeah cost me just over $5000 for it all but it will be worth it. Got 2 events coming up this month with the first being on september 15-16 and next one on september 29-30. I mainly bought it because the other consoles they use are all hooked up to small 22" monitors so i wanted something bigger and better so i bought those 3 monitors and since not everyone has enough money to buy their own sticks and end up borrowing other peoples i though ti would buy a few sticks for people to borrow.
Thats the current type of setups they use at the lans. Its all built into a nice carry case with the monitor attached to the top lid, console, speakers and power brick all in the bottom section. While its easy to carry around the setup is a bit annoying because of the size of the box when they are sitting on the tables so i thought i would do something better.
Thanks. This is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for, though it seems to be discontinued in most places. Wish I could test the lag too.
I appreciate the response. But as I mentioned above, I’d need to find and test one of these.
Anyone else have any lagless 32" recommendations?
I was going to purchase the P50ST50 this week but after reading on AVS that they’re using a better testing tool and that it showed that the input lag was around the 40s now i dont know what to go for. I use to use an Asus VH238H for MVC2 and UMVC3 and they work perfectly for me there. Didn’t notice any lag, specially on MVC2 which use to lag on my 40" samsung. Any owners here of the P50ST50? Im looking for a 46" or higher (LCD or Plasma), if anyone can recommend any models. I’m willing to get a smaller TV for a good model.
Thanks.
Yup, I’m definitely buying the Asus VG278HE 27" 144hz refresh monitor. The VG278H that we were talking about a few posts up in 120hz mode is one of the best monitors on the market in regards to input lag. Asus said they have actually factored in input lag and have tried to reduce it with the VG278HE and they even talk about it halfway through this video
That video actually gave me a whole lot more respect for Asus brand monitors. I have already owned three and love them all and now that I know for a fact that they are seriously considering input latency when they are creating their monitors I will definitely give them a look first.
So yeah, if you’re interested in a 27" 1080p monitor that is 144hz this may be for you. Now for fighting games on consoles the 144hz may not be a huge thing since most games are locked at 20-30-60 FPS but if you use it for your PC as well it will be amazing for just about everything else.
Yeah the high hz wont make any difference since the console doesn’t even support it. I was only interested in the low input lag when i went and bought the monitors. I really wanted a 27" since they are good size for sitting reasonably close and from what i was reading here the vg278h were the best around at the time.
Im actually in the process of getting some more equipment for the lans i attend. I have another xbox 360 coming on friday but this time i think ill just grab a benq gl2450hm monitor instead of another asus one. Next month ill end up getting 2 more xboxs and another 2 of the benq monitors so ill have a total of 6 setups for people to play on.
This model is quite recent and is still readily available in my area of the world (UK & Ireland). If you’re in the US, it’s probably under a different model number.
I wonder about this monitor S2330MX is it god for fps games on Xbox360? it have 3.8 ms inputlag is this god? So it hass less input lag than benq xl2420t? Is S2330MX the best buy for a Xbox gamer?
Your move here is to use HDMI for the PS3 split the signal to both the monitor and the device (using a HDMI to component converter).
Why? Using a component to HDMI converter to play will lag like CRAZY.
Every Smash Bros player in the world wants that monitor.
Well, I meant that consoles don’t go above 60fps so you’ll get less out of it (turning on Vsync for PC games and not being laggy would be amazing though) but I think it will still help a ton for eye strain in general which is why I want it (besides the fact that the input latency is so low). So it would be a good pickup if you’re going to stare at the screen for hours on end.
