What’s the best way to go for a 32" TV for a Kraylix? The models in the OP are all old.
sorry, i don’t have any exact numbers.
prad tested the overall latency of the dell at 3.8 ms, not the input lag. monitors with less latency should be quite rare. can’t promise that the vs248h’s overall latency will be a 3.8 ms…
AVForums have a new tool to test input lag… this one:-

Wonder how much it costs.
(This is not me making it, just to be clear)
That’s pretty affordable. If it actually works well then it would make getting this type of information MUCH easier as any semi-enthusiast/reviewer could easily afford one.
The cost is supposed to be attractive. So I expect when they announce the price, it’ll be written in marker across a woman’s cleavage.
Hi all,
With all this talk about 720p output from the PS3 and stuff, I’ve become very confused as to which TV to buy.
I need to get a TV that can satisfy the need for watching movies in the living room and gaming but I’m also on a budget. The Samsung UE32D5000 looked like a good candidate but this talk of it averaging 16 ms (and even 40ms in one review) has me worried.
Also, this business of upscaling of the image from the PS3 possibly causing more delays and therefore increasing the input lag makes me think that even if the TV is okay overall, the combination of PS3 and TV might drive it over the 1 frame threshold.
Does anyone play SF4 or HD Remix on a PS3 and on a Samsung UE32D5000? Or can anyone recommend a TV that has good input lag when used with a PS3 ad SF4/HD Remix that is currently available in the UK? Preferably under £400.
Your help and input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance guys.

Will buy.
What would be great is if someone could walk into a TV store, and test each and every set there with one of these. Or take one along to a tournament with varied setups. Or alternatively, start a chain-mail type situation, where everyone pays $5 (random amount) to borrow the kit to test and then return it, agreeing to post their findings. Would allow lots of data to be accumulated.
Then everytime someone posted in these threads asking for a specific model, they could pay their $5 and go an test for themselves, or pay $5 for someone to test it for them.
While it’s not at all a bad idea and would probably produce great results (because I don’t imagine that this new item is going to be cheap!), to support that chain-mail thing, it would probably have to be a communal purchase, else be limited to a very strict selection of members… unfortunately, as the community has grown by leaps and bounds, so has the dishonesty.
We had a chain mail thing going with a rock (as in, a solid piece of the surface of the earth) with a smiley-face drawn on it, and someone kept it and didn’t pass it on. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
Just wanted to put you guys up on the catleap korean monitor since I haven’t seen it posted yet. Here is a link to the Overclocked thread:

And this is a link to an input lag/response time chart featuring many monitors including the catleap. This chart has it averaging at 11ms, under a frame at 27". Pretty cool.

That’s a strange monitor right there. There’s a compatibility list for video cards (what happened to standards?!) saying my ATI 5850 isn’t supported. Very strange indeed.
half-ro: that are response times, not input lag.
and how are the tests performed?
that info would also be useful to judge whether those response times are valid or not.
PAXOS as far as your knowledge goes how do these monitor peform in input lag (not repsonse times) and any other comments you may have on them bro
Eizo Foris FS2332-BK
Alienware OptX AW2210

does anyone have any experience with using “digital signage” lcd monitors ?
i hear theses digital signage monitors cut out most if not all of that post processing stuff. these monitor should be almost near zero lag right?

Paxos, is there suppose to be a “P” at the end of this model number?
I ask this because all i can find is this particular model number: ASUS VS248H-P
and what does the “P” stand for?
thanks man, I want to pick this monitor up!
no selling in tech talk.
