Zan (Cyborg character) is pretty underrated. His reach is amazing.

Anyone beat the Event mode levels where you can’t throw anyone off the platform and the motorcycle level?
I’ve beaten all events except for the motorcycle one, which i’m getting close to.
For the platform one, i used mr. x for both of them. Stand on the top right part of the screen since they can’t knock you off from there. When you gotta kill them without tossing them, just keep shooting and mashing jab while building meter. When you gotta knock them off, camp at the corner until a group comes by then dash jump down attack to get on the other side, then blast everyone into the pit after you land.
Yeah, I was doing that earlier and it wouldn’t work because (A) those bitches would jump kick me all the time and whittle down my health and (B) those knife guys charge at me and interrupt my combos on them. Camping the top right with Mr. X works but also be sure to dash attack those fucking bitches to kill them quick, time your special (gunfire) to Anti Air them, and if you see anyone with a weapon quickly knock them down and pick up that weapon and just get it out of there. I finally beat it, now just the motorcycle race.
Yeah, jump kicks were owning me as well. Then i found out neutral jump attack fucks them up. oh well.
I beat all events with Blaze (except the one where you have to protect her). Event 5 took a LOOOONG ass time. Basically I fought it out while trying to keep them on the platform until it gets to the part with the Galsia wielding a knife. Get the knife from him and SPAM fwd+A while facing left. She’s completely invincible during this move and as long as you’re facing left, any enemy who gets hit by it will fall to the left (away from the edge of the platform). The reason it takes so long is because the enemies constantly avoid you while you’re doing this move so I occasionally had to stab them or bait them with B. But there’s no time limit and I’m a patient man. Speaking of patience…

Apparently, you can successfully steal from the shop as well though. Not that I plan on doing that… just sayin’.
I finally beat all the Events. You don’t unlock anything extra. Kinda’ sucks but at least I got through that shit.

If ppl must use Axel I reccomend you use his SOR1 version.

Like its been said before: its already been released. The masses that have downloaded it will throw up mirrors like no tomorrow to make sure this remake doesn’t fade away…
Not having delved into the SOR 1 and 2 versions of characters:
Top:
Mr. X (can do everything and has great damage)
Max (Does the most damage in the game, best dash attacks, and his Suplex in a grapple does assloads of damage. Also, if you grapple someone hit the series button and you do the Undertaker’s finishing move The Last Ride)
Elle (range, police special can be done in any stage)
Rudra (Same as above)
Mid:
Everyone else
Low:
Ash

Been playing this almost non-stop for 4 days. Best free.99 game of the year without a doubt. Everything i wanted out of a new SoR game essentially. If sega’s gotta be **** they better sell this shit on xbox live or whatever just so the masses know about it.
Ash can do his “Police” on Any stage too and his normals are a lot bigger then they seem plus having the best grab range out of any character helps too. Worst has to be Roo.
Sega of Europe said something about protecting the IP. Sega is officially jealous.
Yeah, I can’t really see Ash being too low, and there’s no way he’s the worst in the game. He seems like a pretty solid character.
Shiva is undeniably top tier.
He’s slow, and has the worst up and down dash, his basic combo can leave him exposed because of his jump back. I played SOR2 Max and saw no difference in damage dealt, he looks like he takes a little less damage though.
Also; I’d put Shiva Low Top or High Mid. He has no Police special, his damage isn’t as great as Max, he doesn’t quite have the range of the two bitches, his dash attacks have a lot of invincibility though, and he of course doesn’t have a gun that controls space like Mr. X.
