Is SoR2 Blaze the worst character in the game? No buffs, low dmg, yeah I dunno about this one. SoR1 Blaze got dmg buffs, but I havenāt tried SoR3 Blaze yet. In the original game, she was technically the best fighter, but she lacked the raw physical power Axel had.
Yeah SOR2 Blazeās blitz attack sucks hard too

Man, I finally got to the boss at stage 4 in Mania. Coming down to the final hit and I was going blast her with a star moveā¦except in the beginning of the round, I took off the two button press for the star move and had it exclusively to the R button and forgot. 
I got good at reacting to Diamond and Rubyās start up though. Same with Donovan.

did my first clear today, then played a bunch of VS mode with my friend.

Played through the first level as Blaze. At the boss, I discovered that she had super moves ā¦ Letās say the boss fight didnāt last very long.
I know they arenāt comparable gameplay wise, but SOR4 shits all over Contra: Rogue Corps when it comes to reviving an old franchise.
Because that shit is what happens when you try to shoehorn a familiar name into something else.
Had to look that game up. Looked extra booty. But we did get Hard Corps: Uprising. So it isnt entirely a wash because one attempt didnt work.
Its kind of interesting how much of a balancing act these situations are. You gotta trust in the strenght of the IP. Thereās a reason it was succesful in the first place.
