Anyone else notice this?

Am I the only one that thinks SOR3 Blaze seems broken? Her added mobility in addition to the invincibility frames on her f,f, attack are god like. Plus, unlike SOR4 Blaze, it leaves the foe standing so you can keep comboing them.

Finally started back on this after a week off, just beat the ChinaTown stage my buds were gettin slid on in my first try. Floyd’s ability to clear the whole room in moments is unfair. Lol

Probably lost one life, and that only came from cheap ass Shiva😂

And she has a run/roll and better weapon abilities. Only thing she doesn’t have is the air combo and air special, damage might be a little lower too, but not by much

Question y’all - so if I play online co-op will that increase my lifetime points? Cuz if so I gotta speed up this character grind.

All points count toward lifetime.

Finally beat it today, them last bosses were some cheating mfers. You pretty much gotta make it thru the stage without losing a life or you’re fucked once you get to the bosses. Got lucky and somehow beat the final stage on my first try with 1/4 of life left and no more continues. Whew

Excellent game, wish it was longer. Maybe they’ll add some more retro stages as DLC. Time to try and unlock all the characters now

I actually feel the game is too long. About 1 hr and 50 min for a single run in a beatemup is really damn long. It probably only seemed short to you because you did it in pieces. As a full run IMO it feels like I tad too much. Personally I would have nixed the train and concert levels at least. Even then it would still be one of the longest beatemups

Does the game have saves or passwords ?

It’s always saving scores for unlocks.

If you mean stage progression, there’s “story” mode which simply treats all stages as separate so you can start from the beginning of that stage if you game over, or there’s arcade mode which has a true game over and makes you start from stage 1

Does the VS mode have online?

Retro characters overpowered as fuck. SOR1 Axel killing shit in one combo :joy:

Have you read the Book of SOR3 Blaze? Here at the Church Pixel Bae and Latter Day Beatem Ups, we spread the word

Haven’t gotten them yet. Tell me more

I posted about her earlier. SOR3 characters can dash/run and roll. Give that to Blaze and a F,F Attack with invincibility frames that doesn’t knockdown. You can literally front flip chop Shiva to death.

Yes. Only thing Online doesn’t have is 3 or 4 player co-op, only up to 2.

Anyone who played River City Girls, how does this stack up?

I haven’t played through RCG enough to compare it yet. But even playing through the first level on Girls is pretty fun. I’ll get back to you on RCG. I can give a decent comparison though between SOR4 and the Ninja Saviors. NS is a shorter game than SOR4. There’s no z-axis, but lots of options with attacks, blocks, and the characters are pretty unique from each other.
