Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick PRO - Official Thread

Are the sticks shipping in September?

Stating your opinion is fine. Doing so in an abrasive manner is not. Keep that shit out of Tech Talk.

Will it be more accurate this time?

Will I be able to nab one of these in Australia?

MarkMan,

What is the general ETA on this stick? Like in the next few months or early next year?

ā€¦tried to ask on GAF but that site does not load up here :frowning:

Thanks guys for cleaning upā€¦

The stick will start shipping mid-Sept.

Cant wait for mine! Mark, does it use a TE pcb?

Iā€™ll post pictures of the insides when I get back to the office on Tuesday. Sorry guys, Iā€™m on the road this weekend.

hey markman are you guys seriously not considering selling one without a license, hell i would buy one if it had your signature of approval, i actually think licenses lower the values and lose identity for the maker (actually i think the match made in heaven was the hori one that licensed taito) i would love a madcatz with a capcom license over a videogame title. but thatā€™s just me.

I had a feel of this baby when MarkMan came down to Australia. I really really want one but Iā€™m quite disappointed that the GameShark Store cannot ship outside of NA. =/

Wowā€¦itā€™s hideous

lol welcome to my world unfortunately. Iā€™ve sent Madcatz/Gameshark emails and tweeted Markman a few times about things such as this but have never gotten a response from anybody. Thankfully Qanba seem to ship their stuff worldwide and theyā€™re great sticks so Iā€™m set that way but I still wouldā€™ve liked to have got my hands on one of these SFxT sticks.

From the looks of things (the way itā€™s inspired by the Noir arcade cabinet), a Namco licensed version seems more fitting.

Exactly.

Mark I need one for reviewā€¦ whats up? I pre ordered one but if you can get it here sooner lets do this.

For sure; donā€™t like it, donā€™t buy it. However, people should still be able to give their opinion on it. The members of this forum are, after all, the primary market for this product. Although some offer more valuable feedback than othersā€¦

Iā€™m sure a version in a different color and such will be made available. I doubt they would go through a redesign like this for 1000 sticks.

People should be able to give constructive criticism.

For example:

The stick has obvious Namco Noir influences. I actually prefer the Vewlix style of cabinet and the sticks with those design themes. I do like the Pro stick though and would love to see other colors.

Thank you! This is what we need to see more of in Tech Talk. Not the usual one liners with un-quantified comments.

I would have liked to have seen the Asian-style TEā€™s released in the States, too, but it was not to be and they were Xbox360 exclusivesā€¦

They also appear to be out-of-print now, too. Last I checked, Play-Asia didnā€™t have the Asian TE models in stock anymoreā€¦

Still undecided about the FightStick PRO. Much as Iā€™m leaning towards the style I wouldnā€™t get it for the art, either. Iā€™ve tended to mod at least half the Mad Catz TEā€™s Iā€™ve gotten (removing art and swapping out the Sanwa parts for different colors and Seimitsu parts). Not crazy about the white 30mm buttons, either.

Still, the case design isnā€™t half bad.
Much as I like red in general I agree it needs to be molded in other colors, too.

I pre-ordered one. I think it has a very interesting shape, and I love the red.
