it’s noisy looking. The red is to loud cheap looking and frankly I can’t help but feel Id constantly be looking down at it instead of the screen.
also this is unrelated but and more a curiosity rather than a complaint why is the joy stick all ways so close to the buttons? Is it a balance issue?

So there is room on the left side of the stick for hand. Some people need a lot of room so they can use their preferred method of holding the stick.

I am surprised they did not release a 3rd Strike stick, i would have bought that over the Street Fighter X Tekken.
It would make more sense to release this stick closer to the release of the actual game. Unless, Markman is hiding something from us, like possibly a different colored model at that time

Agreed. Its like whomever designed the shape & colorscheme on these sticks was trying too hard to be different, as if the current TE design is somehow “boring” now and they wanted to change things up.
Something about that “Ketchup” red used, maybe its the shade they chose, but it just looks bad. Like its sponsored by Mcdonalds or something.
Then the shape of the stick itself with that weird overly slanted wrist portion, yet the controls are at level? Seems like it would hurt your wrists over time. Also the way the case sorta “curls” upward at the top near the home button raises an eyebrow too. And what is with those “toothy” feet at the bottom, that won’t annoy players who use the stick on their laps?
Sorry fellas, this is all just my opinion of coarse, but thats my take on it.
Your opinion is noted, although I think you should see the design reference that was mentioned earlier in this thread (Noir Cabinet).
I can tell you from actual playtesting and opinions from people using these sticks, I have had no issues heard from them regarding comfort.
Also as far as the ‘trying too hard’ to be different… lol. No comment.
I appreciate that Markman, not the answer I was really looking for but it is an answer none the less =) Hopefully a few UK vendors purchased some so I can maybe get my hands on one that way.

For every college student in here, you know damn well how it is to play TE on a raised computer desk. The incline on this thing is much deeper than on an SE, and that is enough for me to know it is practical.
Well, as for the shape of the stick, it’s based on the Namco Noir cabinet so you should check that out a few pages back. I don’t see anything wrong with how comfortable these will be, but I would prefer a black on black (on black? lol) color scheme which MarkMan has posted already (it better be released!!) lol
