Yea ive heard but where is from? His ending is just him speeling about “i wanna strong guys forever yay!” Admitly my SF3 knowledge is light, where and what is this cure?
I thought it was SF4 that he purged all of it out of him, at least thats the impression I got from the anime they did.
Never noticed before but the computer registers Ryu’s power levels as 999999… then they turn into 00000… that power of nothingness.
Nothing would suck more than seeing Akuma about to lose to Ryu and then busts out, “You know who your father is boy? ME!” Then Ryu gets all mindfucked and Akuma SGS’s him. But Akuma wouldn’t do that, he wants to fight someone worthy to the death, not try to take over the world by any means necessary.
Meh I was just talking in the context of the SF:AF, since SnH is never really explaned well in the games regarding Ryu, yet done incredibly well regarding Gouki in AF, they could take a free licence and do what the animes alluded too.
In that sense, the way Gouken kicks Ryu and Ken out at the end of AF feels a little bit rushed, Ken was always the first to go and it would give Ryu a little bit more time to get some questions of about his past and heritage.
Also they could have tossed in Rinko for the poor sap, nigga needs a female lol and would have been a great easter egg.
The SF4 anime was ass man, that shit was probably as bad as Generations imo.
In my head after the “The Man of Tai Chi” talk the interviwer became so embarassed after Joey merciless crushed the movie he looked down the entire time while Joey just nodded his head dissapointed in him
Then your missing the point either unintentionally or intentionally by following your own bad fanon.
There are multiple parallels drawn between both Ryu and Gouki, that have been there ever since the Alpha series. Both train very hard to perfect themselves, both are on the same path of constantly fighting stronger and stronger opponents to both challenge themselves and get better. In fact, his Alpha 2 ending demonstrates a philosophy that has him accepting his own mortality that is somewhat similar to that seen in the code of Bushido.
Seeing Akuma as a bloodthirsty killer is a disservice to the character. He clearly has his own personal code of honor and rarely ever actually uses his full strength. Fighting is usually either to challenge himself (vs. Oro in SFIII), or to test others to see if they are worthy of facing him (vs. Ryu in Alpha 2). He also only ever kills in equal combat and does not consider such an act as murder and is also fully accepting of the fact that he too may be killed in combat - again, something similar to the code of Bushido where samurai were fully aware that their lives were forfeit even before battle.
Gouki is a maniac looking to sate his bloodlust? That would make him a ruthless killer which he has never be depicted to be in any incarnation. Not in the games. Not in the movies. And not in comics.
