I hate Alpha 3, I guess it’s because I get owned by random pokes :(. I wanted to pick it up on kaillera, but that game just seems like a fuckin poke fest. I liked Alpha 2 100000000000x better.

rolling is shit and scrubby, dashing is fine. A3 was kinda crappy still though, stupid juggle system and gay v-ism, A2 was better
haha u can say that all u want only time i see buttons mashed is to get out of hyper grav tempest…or to get more damage on a super. don’t call it a mashing game just cuz the speed is so fuckin fast that theres a whole bunch of button clicking, not to mention all the shit u have to do at one time just to get anything to work. ppl have to adjust to the speed of the game plus theres hella shit going on at one time basically 2v2…while in a3 its just one on one. a3 is a good game but theres bs in there just like mvc2 lol

Thats true, one of the few things that I think Alpha 3 was better its on the characters number and the option of having level 1/2/3 on lp/lk mp/mk/hp/hk. Other than that: A2 >>> A3

Agree :pleased: deadly cc zone (valle cc) rules in Alpha 2 rules, plus: level 1 supers have WAY more priority that the shity supers from Alpha 3, plus: Alpha 2 has the classic grab that is WAY better than the GAY grab of 2 buttons from Alpha 3 (IMO)
I guess that the old GOLD days of Alpha 2 in the states was on the B3 time… ho well… thank god we will have Alpha 2 in the next portuguese tournaments and that is due to one simple reason: most players here enjoy more Alpha 2 than Alpha 3.

Better Gameplay
Better Music [None of that pseudo-pop and techno shit]
Better Storyline [Facing Bison no matter what??? Oh please(A3)]
Better Voice acting

Alpha 2 and Alpha 3 are both very good games. I like both of these games cause their fun to play. even though both games arent popular these days, i wish capcom would release a collection of the alpha series on the PS2. besides that, SFA3 made it to PSM top 10 PS1 games of all time with a 5 star rank.:tup:

Alpha 3 is a good game, not as good as CvS2 or 3S imo but still good.
There is more to CvS2 then some people in this thread are giving it credit for.
I prefer Sfa3 over sfa2 mainly cos of sfa3 is the game i mostly play with me friends.
But i have to agree that the game does have a very high learning curve, one sec you think your good BAM play someone decent and you get busted. I just can seem to get good at it :(.
Any game that gives you enough options to make you think is a good game. MvC2, Sfa3 Tekken and any other good fighting game. Competition really makes the game and breaks the game.

ok, so my second point wasnt exactly accurate, but by calling a game a button masher is just proving you suck, or you’re wrong. fighting games dont become popular because people like to mash buttons. i dont give a shit if you know how to play marvel, your knoedge on A3 doesnt change.
