im very good at cvs2 and mvc2 but when i jumped on alpha, i became “alright”. got dangit, no dashing, no rolling, how do you expect me to play this turtle. ive been so used to running, dashing, and rolling to get across the screen, that i forgot how to play without those options, and let me tell you its annoying.

The game is not garbage your skills are :lame: . Alpha 3 is not a button masher like MVC2. It takes patience to play this game.Hell a 6 yr old could play MVC2. What i’ve noticed button masher games do good in the U.S. Games that make you pick one character and learn that particular character ex(Alpha 3,Virtua fighter 4) dont do good in the U.S.
The most serious rush-down SF ever and it warrants nonsense like this? LOL! I suppose random highs and lows and roll super are real rushdown tactics!!! heheh
I just had to add my obligatory post to the thread. I’m surprised that anyone took him seriously to begin with. We all know that CvS2 is the most turtle SF of all time.

A3 = no roll, no dash. = dominated by one grove = good
then
SvC = no roll, dash. = dominated by 3-4 characters = aweful

Yes. You missed
A3 = most characters have somehow made it well in some tournament somewhere = despite its age tiers manage to shift once in a while, meaning that there is no complete domination of a handful of characters, meaning that there is still some things in the game yet to be learned
