I like the way it is now. Just train yourself to properly do an ultra and you’ll get it right like 99% of the time:/

You guys are high. Why would ex roll have throw invincibility?

Roll isn’t the same as sim or akumas teleports, and it shouldn’t be. Roll is a great tool, and removing it’s only weakness just doesn’t make sense.

What does need to happen is changing falling sky. It has to have a use outside of combos, and air born giefs. Currently it’s a waste of space on abel’s move list.

st. rh fix is needed too

faster far normals are a perfect fix imo.

If his far fierce was 7 frames and his far roundhouse was 8 he would actually have a better overall spacing a zoning game going on.

Also, they need to make far forward usefull for something

far roundhouse is retarded right now. basically worthless. far fierce… against Gen it gets decent use, against anybody else… I dunno I think I’ve landed it twice when someone is in the corner and I want to do as much damage as possible and get a reset too.

My next suggestion, instead of stun on TT being 100, 150, 200… make it 150, 175, 200.

Are you serious? Sure normal roll can be kept throwable, but when you use up an ex bar to gtfo, the last thing you want is to be defeated by is a simple throw.

I think the Abel is great but his moves just need to WORK.
Far s.mk?? Get out of here - the leg can go through an opponents face and do jack all.

cr.HK - good, but the animation is misleading - could do with much better range.

This one may make him much deadlier, bout how about cr.lp/lk cancelable into lp.cod?

Don’t need two air-to-air strong attacks (j.hp and j.hk). Since j.hp is the favourite of the two, give us a j.hk that can be good for block stun if nothing else.

but for dash i think that abel shouldnt get totally destroyed by Thawks dive attack since i think its safe to say hes gonna be in the game seeing as he was meant to be in in the first place along with Djay

If EX Roll is thrown, it’s because they expect it. Having a free escape every time would almost turn Abel into a different character.

I know this is a bit dated but this suggestion is flat out vital for abel, simply because it’d a) reduce wonky ultra botches b) put abel in a defensive posture if he doesn’t finish the move, meaning if you’re buffering it depending on an opponent’s move ( ie fuerte’s slide/splash mixups ) you can block if you don’t press punch ( it’d take a good eye and sick reaction time, and you’d eat the splash if you held down-back and did nothing, but still it’s a vast improvement )

Other than that, fix his crounching fierce not to be so buggy against certain chars, so that it hits more consistently for both hits instead of only getting one and getting punished despite being well within range

I’m wishing for an air-grab ultra (Abel is on the ground) that beats jump-ins clean. But to make it not spammable, make the motion double tornado throw.

This. This is all Abel really needs. Perhaps let the input be qcf x2 + 3k. Otherwise, Abel is great as is. Too much new stuff and you make him OP, or mess up his beautiful mixups.

Now if they don’t give him an AA ultra, they could tweak his HP Falling Sky so that he leaps off the ground with some invincibility, grabs the opponent and goes directly into the EX FS animation where he lands on top of his opponent.

I was thinking it’d be a 0 frame command grab ultra, Gief-style.
