i like the whole ost personally. yes it coulda been better but it also coulda been worst. so nmo matter who did the remix there will always be ppl that wont like it
Does anyone know where to get the PSN Exclusive Soundtrack? I can’t find it on PSN as a download.
The music is pretty awesome for the most part. Cammy’s stage is ridicuolus and even Sagat’s music is top tier.
I love the PC soundtrack, in fact I put it in the Xbox version of SF2:AE when it first hit.
Maybe there’s a DLC in the future that allows us to map mp3s to stages? I’d put the PC soundtrack in there for sure.

Incidentally it is one of the only ones I really like. Nearly all the other tracks sound like they are muted compared to the original scores. That and too much jazz shit. God damn…
so far i really like the music on all the levels, especialy the main menu. now that i read this thread ill probly try it on classic mode for a bit to really compare the two.
Yo I just switched the music to classic for fun and the classic tracks sound VERY VERY different then the actua lclassic ST tracks but that is a good thing.
On sagat and bison’s stage it’s most noticeable:tup:

I love Fei Long, T.Hawk, Dhalsim and Dee Jay’s new music. The rest of the music just seems to fade into the background for me, so I don’t notice it much. I think T.Hawk’s is my favourite of the lot, followed by Fei Long’s.
Bison’s theme is awesome. :tup:

You can find the CPS1, CPS2 and Hyper versions of each song/track on the Hyper Street Fighter 2: Anniversary Edition soundtrack. Trust me, it’s definitely worth the buy.

I like the Claw, Boxer, Cammy, and character select music. Really don’t like anything else, and I really don’t like the Gief, Guile, Honda, Chun, or Sim (though I never liked Chun/Honda/Sim tracks anyway). Gief’s music sounds like The Advantage style lo-fi guitars, which is usually awesome but the style does not work for SF at all; it’s TOO retro.
I really dislike all of the music >_>…it all seems to tame to fight to. One guy a couple pages described it well: elevator music. Also, as much as I like Ken’s theme, it really gets to me when I have to listen to it every time I’m at the main menu.
It’s okay, though, because you can still listen to the old music, and because the Xbox 360 has custom soundtracking (which I have been using quite a bit). At this point, the SF2 songs have become so iconic that each new SF game has like, remixes of remixes of remixes in it.

im pretty picky with music, but i like most every song in the game except the character select screen
vegas and balrogs are actually two of my favorite songs in the game
