I was playing Chuckbartowski-- he was uing El Fuerte and I was playing Seth… All of a Sudden We both got Double K.O.'d at the end of the 3rd round. Aparently MIKE ROSS was so fast with the Hundered Hand Slaps that neither of us saw it untill we got the Pop up msg “You’ve been Mike Ross’d” lolol

All I’m gonna say is that if people were willing to pay me to teach them SF and tell them stuff they can find elsewhere for free, I’d do it too. Free money TBH.

1) this forum is hard to withstand without a flame retarded suit if you’re a noob
2) sometimes playing the game vs great players is that small thing that you need to get over the hump
3) pros see the things this forum can’t. Its easy to say “just do this” because theres nothing behind it. But to literally show someone the process, it is another thing all together. I can watch Sabin videos all day, I can go online and play all night… but at the end of the day I can’t come close to his Sim’s game play. I would like to know not only why he does moves but what he’s thinking when he does them. That alone is great motivation for players who are serious about their gaming to want to put down the money to sit with these guys and learn.
4) The best players are wanting to help players, if you don’t want to pay the money its really as simple as just forgetting about it. They are pro players…this is what they do. Its not “after I get off of work I go to tourneys”…The tourney is the job. The wealth of experience warrants charging for the lessons, as well as the fact that, again, this is their JOB. I sure as hell would hate to train my future competition for free…

Had a lesson with JW, Marn, AND gootecks, yes i paid for all of them 2 hours each. Its pretty good, you would be surprise. a lot of stuff u could learn here in the forums but its much easier to get it from them. also they point out many things that i did wrong, its better than reading it on the forums. lettuce be reality, the forums r a hassle. BIG THANKS to them, it helped my game a lot. i was stuck at a plateau always losing to a certain person but after the lessons i beat the dude 10-2. YEAAAHHH BUDDY!!!

Yeah, I remember playing this one guy (I won’t name him) in vanilla. I thought he would be good because he always posted as if he knew everything and was quick to belittle people disagreeing with him. He was awful, not like noob awful but he wasn’t even good for an online player.

If I’m paying money for a trainer, I expect him to cater his services around my weaknesses. In SF, If I don’t AA enough, I’d hope my trainer would make my exercises cater to bettering my AA game. If you’re lucky enough to go to a tournament to have somebody do that for you without the better player getting bored then by all means. If not, then well…
