If you’re referring to CPU, it’s horrible. CPU does everything in patterns. Instead of AA on reaction you’ll look for the patterns.

Its not paying to get good, its paying someone to teach you what you don’t know. No pro is going to automatically make you Tournament caliber material, you’re still going to have to practice your ass off. The lesson is basically a tutorial of “what you’re doing wrong”, but even after you figure that out, its still up to you to do the right thing.
Although $50 for an hour seems expensive to some people, you have to look at the big picture. This information could take someone several hours even days to absorb, and they may not have all the resources necessary to obtain the information. However, paying someone $50 to tell you anything and everything you need to know can save you tons of time that will allow you to more efficiently spend time training. If I was serious about traveling and competing to the point where I felt I could really become a top player, I would certainly get these lessons, if for nothing else than to get a better player’s perspective on my game.
Has anybody tried out this offer yet? I’m curious as to how it goes. Maybe somebody can livestream/ustream/youtube their hour lesson and then we can see what the fuss is about. I’ll even donate to the cause if somebody is up for it.

You see I’ve been having this problem lately where I win against low tier characters. Adon and Geif specifically.
Paying for this is ridiculous. The only players there worth learning from are Mike Ross and Justin Wong. But the prices are too high. Why would you pay Gootecks? Guy hasn’t placed high in any tournaments lately, or has he?
What sort of aspiring Balrog master wouldn’t want to learn the intricacies of cr.lp and cr.hp?
