Many people don’t have an active scene or don’t have a good enough active scene to be worth doing so.
Haha. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Quote of the year.
I don’t remember you ever making a worthwhile post kid get the fuck off my nuts.
And what details did I miss? Please enlighten me. Your entire post was, in a few words “lol lessons are useless they can’t teach you combos online!”. There was not a word that was about anything outside of this in that entire post. Pretty sure I didn’t miss a detail.
Please, link me to a few of the supposedly many posts that I make that don’t make any sense.
Every time you’ve ever tried to argue with me (and this has been like at least 2 times before this), I’ve disproved you horribly and had 95% if not 100% of other posters agree with me. I’m sorry you can’t accept that your opinion is wrong. In this case I’m not necessarily stating that you’re wrong, but I’m merely disagreeing with you, I just think people need to do a little more research and think a little more before posting negative shit about a positive service.
All I’ve stated in this thread thus far is opinion, I’m simply voicing another way to think about it. Some idiots (you) don’t think about shit before they start trashing it. You were under the impression they were going to try to teach you combos and shit online. Good fucking job you’re retarded.
I agree not all of these people are worth getting lessons from, but JWong certainly is (and no I’m not a nut hugger but there’s no denying he’s a talented, versatile player, unlike the other 3). Look at how well he reads his opponents in MOST matches, it’d take him a matter of minutes to completely diagnose you and tell you everything you need to work on.
damn. 40 bucks? For one hour? Yeah right, like anyone’s gonna get that good in an hour. And only competent players will be able to understand a small percentage of wtf they try to teach you, and from there, utilize it in the future and practice it until it becomes 2nd nature, but even then, it’s totally not worth it. If it was cheaper, I’d bite, but I can read off of SRK for free and that’s pretty much almost enough knowledge to get me going.
Seems like a good deal. Ross can teach you about Shakespeare, Marn can give you hotdog eating lessons, and JWong can teach you how to throw out random ultras when you’re about to get knocked out of a tournament by a character you described as total crap.
I don’t even know WTF a gootecks is, so no comment. Sounds like some sort of mental complex or some weird virus.
LOL So much hate in this thread. Still, If you could make easy money why wouldn’t you? Hella jokes! I wanna see what a customer has to say after the get tutored lol
well i guess they know that some people are desperate enough to pay for lessons in this game and i guess they think if they were to actually get jobs then their skills would suffer in a major way. also i would like to think that they make enough tournament money to where they dont have to work. i couldnt do it though. the game wouldnt even be fun for me anymore if i played it from 9 to 5 (with occasional overtime) every day.
Hilarious. i would probably only take lessons from mike ross if i was dumb enough to pay for this crap.
You read what you wanted to read bro, and you still keep calling my posts negative. And since you summed up my posts to less than 10 words, I’m sure you didn’t get the point of what I was saying, as per usual. Go back and read what I wrote. It wasn’t negative, just weighing the pros and cons. Or keep discussing how you’re opinion is more reasonable than mine.
Oh, and I’ve never discussed anything with you on this website, you’ve got the wrong guy. But if you’re keeping track, then maybe you should be the one to hop off, especially if you’re using the “95%” of other posters as a backup claim. You still haven’t said anything about the service itself, but rather, thought long and hard about how you could rip apart my post. Are you some type of SRK bully? Stop being a “Moist Dude” bro.
Then again, if being an E-thug make you proud, have at it.
Not that it justifies a 40$ pricetag, but, just playing someone who’s better than you for 35 minutes straight can level up your game noticeably. A guy from a tournament I go to sat down and played a good 25 sets with me–he’s a better player no doubt, and it forced me to step it up to start taking rounds.
Getting an hour to play with some of the best will force you to think on a higher level and push yourself harder than you normally would. You’ll start to refrain from doing obvious stupid shit and develop better tendencies etc.
Is that worth 40$? Probably not given that you can really get it for free from players, maybe if you don’t have a scene and are super serious about it, but I’d be surprised if there wasn’t one within an hour or two of you.
Every post of mine has been detailing exactly why I believe this service to be worthwhile, yours just happened to go against my opinion and had something stupid (them teaching us combos) in it that I felt the need to point out. Who’s the one not reading the other’s posts now?
I don’t have anything against you but stop calling me out on shit when there’s no need.
And the reason I addressed only that point of your post was because the rest of it agreed with me. I didn’t make that very clear and I apologize for going off at you in the previous post, just pissed me off because you generalized every one of my post, where I think this is the first one where I’ve truly missed something as obvious as “I’m not trying to take away from these guys…”. I did notice where you acknowledged exactly what I was saying (they can point out your mistakes), I just felt it wasn’t necessary to point out that part.
But it WAS posted that Wong and other would be teaching lessons on sf tournament play, and BnB combos were included. If you missed that also, I wouldn’t be surprised. Then again, that was the only thing you disagreed with me on, and it was wrong because it was mentioned otherwise.
I really doubt that in one hour (assuming you’re only gonna pay for one) they’re gonna tell you stuff that you won’t easily find somewhere else and that will definitely help you improve your game that much.
