I see nothing much from you missing the votes since you would have voted Saitsu, right?
I just like to take all factors into consideration, 'tis not essentially the cause of my suspicions.
Yes, voting on procedure is the least I want to be happening.
I’m quite sure there’s more than “if x = y, then z must be v” when you guys place your votes, so let’s keep it that way.
That’s not how the Medic works, nor is protection essential to your plan. And these are not the only flaws in the plan. You really haven’t thought this through… Or maybe you have, and you’re mafia.
@Mobius: you don’t see ANY other reason Manx might be mafia? Not the weird role language in the beginning that Synonym suspected, or his no vote this past round?
About the role language, I replied to Synonym when he made mention of that.
I took a look at it from a different perspective,
And about his no vote,
But if you’d like my opinion on voting Manx, it did not change much.
Those aside, I should probably widen my horizons and start scrutinizing Manx as well, as it would be the least I could do to respect Synonym’s last gasp.
That said, there was no pep talk in his last gasp.
I’m now even more suspicious of Manx for this very reason. That, and his plan is convoluted and has more holes than a Reno whorehouse. My best guess is he’s Mafia, and he’s hoping that a convoluted plan, along with being vague about things and counting on people not saying the emperor has no clothes, will get us one more bad lynch and put our backs on the wall.
@Mobius, those are all reasonable points. I would encourage you to be more suspicious of his no vote. It’s easy for mafia to pop in late and be like “sorry bro, totally forgot to vote! Yeah, I would’ve voted for the same guy you did.”
You want a pep talk? Like a sports pep talk, or a parole officer pep talk? Professional athletes tend to get them from both of those sources.
I’ll be looking forward to see you post why you are suspicious of Co-Jones.
As for Syn’s suspicion on me, I have no problems with it. I did make some mistakes/fuckups that is inherent to my greenness. I don’t have any other reason for my mistakes other than that. With that said if anyone wants to ask me any questions about my thought process when I said/did something harmful to the civ cause then please, by all means question me about it. *
*Currently since I have no strong reads, I’m thinking long about who could have been recruited and who would have recruited them. Additionally I’m checking their prior thread interaction and voting results to see if it runs congruent with this line of reasoning.
Mmkay. Since I’m taking a small break from drawing (Check Lounge if you don’t believe me), I looking at both BD’s and Syn’s LGs, I’m still a bit curious as to why we haven’t lynched GR. While I’d pick Manx for throwing me under the bus after he got some heat on him from us not voting, I’d still go with GR to see if he was clean or not.
@Neesa: welcome back. You’ve been quiet which is suspicious no matter how you slice it, but I’m deep in the weeds so a fresh perspective is useful. Care to recap the argument for GR?
Also, you seem to imply that lynching GR is informative–perhaps more informative than lynching others. Why?
Ok, about 14 hours to the deadline. I’ve been holding back on this, but we need to start thinking about how vulnerable we are to the mafia swinging votes late in the day. It wasn’t a huge issue yesterday, but it is now. If we are not paying close attention, they could easily force a tie vote or even swing the lynch, and we absolutely cannot afford that now. Even worse would be a braindead civ doing that, then we pick up on that, lynch them, and then lose. So, I think we can all agree on the following statement:
If someone forces a tie vote or a sudden swing close to the deadline that results in a civ being lynched, that person gets lynched next day phase.
Make sense? Hopefully I’ve cut some shenanigans off at the head. Also, I think this is going to force us to be decisive. I’d really call anyone who’s in doubt to lock in Manx, for reasons I’ve already explained. I’m going to bed now, and if there aren’t many votes on Manx when I wake up (and no better candidate has emerged), I’ll frame my argument differently to try to convince the stragglers.
Eh, sorry for not being vocal. After I got “removed” from my job site unexpectedly, I haven’t really been feeling playing. Sorry about that. Nevertheless, are you voting in for Manx? I already said I should cause he threw me under the bus.
Yeah. In case I go back to drawing and I don’t wake up in time, I’ll go with the suggestion from Syn and put my vote in for Manx. I you booski, but… Throwing me under when we both forgot to vote is jacked.
