Keeping quite is generally not going to help us and stating that you’re going to do so in the thread can give of a dirty wibe @TGG. But if you feel that you’re going to get killed early otherwise and that you’d be an asset to us if left alive I won’t discourage you from doing so.
Not knowing which uc is the elite is going to be interesting though.
I felt like it was a better alternative to state my reasoning, as opposed to just going dark when I posted 80 times in the first day cycle in the last game. No doubt people would be like “Oh shit why is he clamming up now!?!? SUSPICIOUS!”
It’s not even about being an asset. I just want to be able to play. I’m also testing something related to my longevity of life in SRK Mafia, but explaining it now would hamper results. I can explain it day 2.
Assuming for the moment you’re a civ, I agree that the second option is more powerful as I formation is king on the mafia games however, it can be argued that mafia knew that we would suspected them of picking option 2 so they instead opt for option 1.
That being said Occam’s razor and all yeah probably went with option 2.
Just out of morbid curiosity OZ, did you follow the game after you died? Every Mafia, barring Co-Jones since he was recruited at the very end, was barely posting and saying as little as possible. It’s only logical there’d be a backlash against that tactic.
Yeah, how about we just spend most of this early time testing the site’s functionality. Last thing we need is someone turning suspect because the site screwed them.
I used to have faith that the all quiet people were just busy.
Not anymore. Not after it was used as a bullshit (although legitimate) tactic.
I’ve resolved that the wallflowers are not of any use to the game, using the reasoning that more likely than not if people are quiet it’s because they don’t want to help. That’s my new standard assumption.
