It makes sense, at least from my limited understanding of Spanish which I’m assuming carries over to other Central & South American languages. “Hanji” would be pronounced “Han-hee” which localization/translations tend to avoid in my experience, they want the name to sound as similar as possible. “Jaegar” in German would have to be spelled “Yeager” in Spanish to achieve the same sound.
If I’m being horribly ignorant Hecatom then by all means correct me
Is more a thing about that in the manga translations Hange is used instead of Hanji.
On Spanish to achieve Hanji pronunciation it would be something like Janyi.
Expeditions are what they were intended to be and how we perceived them at the start. High risk, high reward. I like it, being all FGC and all that. But not going expedition is still viable. Going for spds and psychic dps vs zoning/ poking.
Not frantic or illogical, you just say things in really weird ways. That could also just be a different forum game, different way of thinking about it though
Smug? I’m just astounded that civilians are shitting the bed this hard, this early. Seriously, all OZ had to do was give us the name of his partner and he’d be alive and the dormant would be dead. If I was the human lover that would have been my first post in the thread.
TGG was unlucky on our part. He was playing better than 99% of the rest of us (myself included) so it’s unfortunate that he had a PR to boot.
Fuzz, you could have come out and said point blank: Do not vote for Augustus. That was your one job. If I’d seen anything that concrete I would have derailed that train immediately. The only reason I’ve been riding Augustus is because he’s been out of character this game. I didn’t realise it was because he was a PR.
I’m positive Hecatom will just post: Expedition has been announced. Group A is …, Group B is … etc.
Syn that specific post about Aug was directed towards Blindknagg thinking Augustus was Dormant Lover after he had already claimed Vigi.
On you voting for Augustus I’ve got no problem, if I didn’t know he was civ I definitely would’ve suspected him. By saying flat out don’t vote for Augustus I tell anyone listening that he’s either Levi/Eren or I 99% think he’s civ, both of which make him a prime target during night phase and do more harm than good unless it’s absolutely necessary. Hence why I never strongly defended him but also didn’t push him. Ideally he would’ve been one vote away from getting lynched.
And of course I’m going to have to change up my tactics now so Mafia doesn’t catch on and kill Levi.
Edit: As for the smug comment you sound like you had a smirk on your face as you were typing that. You’re the kind to laugh when things go horribly wrong though, so it doesn’t surprise me if you’re enjoying this on some level even as civ. Alpha you know him better than anyone, this sound about accurate?
Personal knowledge of Synonym not required to verify behaviour is equivalent to status given to him over several games. Expectation is that concurrent players be of equal or similar skill level and anyone outside of this range is to be treated as a lesser contributor. Frustrated more appropriate than smug.
End of Night 2 - Revenge is a dish best served cold
It surely is a cold night this that we have tonight, though Hanji Zoe while putting her cape on the coat rack.
She barely had put a foot on her room when suddenly a knife was pressing her throat.
Move!, said a woman’s voice while pushed Hanji inside the room.
Now you are gonna pay for what you did to her. Said the voice from behind.
What do you mean said Hanji?
I am talking about what you did to orochizoolander.
Hanji suddenly realized who was her attacker, but it was too late since the knife already sliced her throat.
The strenght was already leaving her body when she finally dropped on the floor.
As she was there lying she saw someone else with her attacker.
You did great, with this now we can be sure that we can trust you.
It was easy, she was the responsible of what happened to my beloved Oz
It was then when Hanji realized that they went straight into their trap, that all the proofs against Oz were a set up. It was them.
She tried to talk but the words didn’t come out.
Come said the misterious woman, we need to move, Hanji only could look how the 2 leaved with impotence…
Yeah, but that’s because it didn’t necessarily seem the brightest idea early on. Now that the ratio is lookin’ uglier, it’s a matter of convincing them to die for the civ cause.
Or, they could be assholes and just sit there waiting to be recruited and furthering the gap. :bluu:
