I was fighting sleep all throughout that last hour and lost some time after my last post. Not like it mattered, though. I was sittin’ on voting for Zoo anyway, waiting for a reason not to.
I’m also sick of people not reading the damn roles. No it’s not in perfect English, and no sometimes the full details aren’t on there, but we just lynched the Human Lover and people are wondering where the Last Gasp is. It’s Day 2, you’ve got no excuse to be surprised by roles.
Not helping.
For the record Aug if we somehow go on Expedition (chances are nill at this point due to secret rules) and you are Eren then I’d definitely suggest Jason or Syn over the others. Jason’s posts have been crazy and Syn is acting much too smug for us having lost 2/3 power roles in 2 phases and the Mafia having at least 1 recruit.
OZ I demand an explanation once the game’s ended. Just an explanation of why you did what you did. Not necessarily the roleclaim itself, I can see that one, but why in the actual hell you handled that day as you did and then had the audacity to talk down to us. Literally four words would’ve saved you, would’ve made yesterday’s lynch infinitely better no matter who it was but you didn’t say them.
Aug is his (Oz’s) dormant lover right? Or did I misinterpret what happened before and just after the lynch?
Anyway what I ment is that since we know who the dormant part of the lovers duo is (I assume that we do) we won’t have to actively search for him now even though he becomes mafia by default (because Oz was killed by a lynch). @RadicalFuzz
You have read the thread and come to the conclusion that Augustus is OZ’s Dormant Lover? Because he was hinting at it while OZ was being lynched, which is to say moments before he would become Mafia? You, one of the only players to actually read the role cards?
Fine, you know what, fuck subtlety. I’ve been trying to avoid lynching Augustus. Augustus claimed Eren. I’m pretty sure even at this point I can’t flat out say shit but I don’t know how strict the rules on that “can’t reveal identity” clause are. This could be my last post before I get DQd, a post explaining how someone who claimed Eren, who I’ve tried to move lynches off of, is not the Dormant Lover that we should lynch immediately.
Okay, instead of being all quiet let’s do something productive, shall we?
Augustus: You might be on your final stretch, but it’s not over yet. You’re 100% confirmed and we know for a fact that your opinions are for the bettering of the civilian cause. There’s gotta be something left for you to discuss before you go. I’m not talking about stuff you could just put in your LG. I mean constructive discussion. Any ideas?
Everyone else: What do you guys think about reworking the Expedition plan now that we know the real rules? Considering the whole “equal size” clause, Expeditions seem sort of pointless now. It’s far too risky. We could try to arrange people in groups so that we think 1 mafia is in each, but that’s not exactly the easiest thing to do. If we’re wrong, we could lose 1/4th of our numbers with little risk to the mafia (25% chance that they lose 1 person as opposed to a 75% chance that we lose 25% of the civilian body; or if you go with 6 groups - 16.67% that they lose 1 person to a 83.33% that we lose 16.67% of all civilians). But maybe there’s something I’m missing?
Do people know what group they’re in? It’s probably a stretch but if the mafia don’t know what respective groups they’re in we can use that to our advantage.
Hange, for what it’s worth, I would much prefer Augustus to not die. He’s confirmed civ and a fairly competent player if he can rebound from what’s happened. On the down side his role, turns out, will be borderline useless since Expeditions are an extremely poor options for us.
Forge I’m assuming so because the roles will obviously have to choose from their Group. Eren can’t just say “Kill Synonym” and have it fizzle if they’re not in the same group, Mafia has to say “Attack Group X with role Y” etc
I’m fairly sure that they know who is in what group. It would be too much of a disadvantage for them if their expedition kill becomes nothing more but a die toss.
