Groups have to be as equal in number as possible. I submitted at roughly 9:40 and got that information shortly afterwards so I cancelled rather than make a rash decision that could get a quarter of us killed.

@Hecatom‌ Nowhere in the ruleset does it specify that the groups have to be of roughly equal value. Either:
-Lack of forethought and a mid-game change.
-Incomplete set of rules on the rules page.
-Removing disadvantage from Mafia.
