Jason has a point. If we all agree that players A, B, & C aren’t dirty and we don’t need to worry about lynching them at the moment, the Mafia are then motivated to kill those three. However that only applies if we take it to that extreme level. Writing someone off as likely civ for the moment without closing their case is a more reasonable level. Especially considering the possibility of recruitment if that particular Dormant is playing very civvy.
Once phases lock in about an hour & a half you guys should be able to speak more freely. I’ll be going to bed right then or maybe 20/30 minutes later if I wanna stay up to check the results.

Interesting read from the Mafia. This complicates things slightly, both for the obvious reasons and because of what I list below.

@AlphaCommando this is the thing I wanted to talk about, I pinged you in the event I forgot or couldn’t stay up until deadline.
Now that actions are locked here’s my plan. I want to know what everybody thinks of this before I send in the Expedition order, obviously.

Put everyone except for our top 3 suspects in one big group

Armin investigates a player to see if they’re a Titan Shifter.

Night phase Armin should roleclaim and Hange will protect them. At the beginning of the next day phase Armin should give us his results

Next day phase we No Lynch or try to lynch a Mafia. If we start lynching a role that role should claim. Still bad, but better to have the Mafia kill them than us

Night phase Hange protects Armin

Expedition phase the following day. If Armin got a “Shifter” result then Eren kills that player

Repeat steps 3 - 6
Weak Points in the plan:
-If Armin investigates Eren, calls out his name for a hit, and then that player doesn’t end up dead the Mafia know Eren’s identity
-Hange, Armin, Levi, Eren, and preferably Mikasa need to be alive for this to work
-The Titans still have a chance of killing Hange or Levi during the night phase, whether randomly or on a read
-If we try to lynch people and force one of the main roles to claim then Hange can’t effectively protect both them and Armin
Strong Points in the plan:
-Even if Eren is killed at night Mikasa will turn into the Expedition Phase Vigi, and she’ll never qualify as a Shifter so the same situation won’t come up again
-The plan requires only Armin to claim, and Levi only needs to be alive to protect everyone if Eren is killed at night, as Mikasa loses her Ace ability. That isn’t instantly bad for us, but it makes Expeditions off limit for the rest of the game
-We still have all of our roles, so that requirement has been fulfilled
-The Colossal Titan ability would help us more than hurt us, meaning Hannes is free to defend the walls exclusively at night
-We limit the Mafia’s options to “which of these 3 people do I kill” during the Expedition phase
