Really instead of hunting Mafia right now we need to just agree on people we think are civ first off and work our way from there.

You hit the nail in th head. In the early game I have soe difficulty discerning possible role from mafia tendencis/behavior. We have 8 roles in play and 3 mafia. On the other hand I think most dormants will coast the early game and try to see how the game will play out before either coming out as dormants and dying as civ, or try actively get recruited. I’d rather root them out and prevent the latter from ever happening so w cut off the titans potential.

I didn’t know Exodus had said he was going to vote Blindknagg and to be honest i didn’t keep good track of who was voting for who. It’s one of the reasons I asked Skizzz to break down what happened during the day phase since playing on mobile is chore for me. I’m not going to throw excuses about being busy or whatever because it’s inexcusable in the confines of this game.
Speaking of that, what even qualifies as role behavior? Honestly I’ve only really been going off gut feeling and odd posts in order to try and figure out mafia.
*I can’t say particulars during game, but there are plays & setups that might come off as suspicious early game by people who have roles. Sometimes it’s from mafia, and other times it’s from people with roles.

What constitutes an odd post?
The current topic partially explains my vote. People calling out mafia when there’s only 3 of them. We’ve played games with 7 and had worse luck. The dormants are only adding to our confusion in the thread. We will have to keep track of they’re posts before and after they become mafia… along with any edits.
Anyway, last phases results were good for us. Mafia has 3 members. Let’s see what they do.
That said, I’m assuming there’s 4 of them after this phase regardless of what happens.
That actually coincides with the “gut feeling” factor lol. If after reading it I get the feeling that there are some hidden intentions behind it, it counts as an odd post to me. Things like Augustus and Godots first posts rubbed me in a weird way.
I get those too. Nothing wrong with them, I just use them as leads most of the time. My hard reads and knee jerk reads are kept separate.
Interesting idea Bious. I prefer it to witch hunting. While it does allow the Mafia to potentially get away with specific things because Player A didn’t see Post B from Player C as damning and puts the ball in their court that’s partially where we want it. Our roles are better than theirs. The only advantage the Mafia has is knowing the other 2 Mafia, and their abilities. Hannes completely negates either Colossal or Armored depending on what the best Mafia play would be, Levi and Mikasa both make attacking a group in an expedition extremely dangerous, Hange being part-Medic means the Mafia can’t kill confirmed civilians without any hesitation, if nothing else it makes it a 50/50 guess. Me knowing two of the most important expedition roles, along with me being the person in charge of the expeditions, makes embarking on them a potentially extremely advantageous situation. Most importantly, going on expeditions forces the Mafia to take some kind of action with very limited information, a position that’s usually reserved for civ power roles. We have a lot of interesting ways we can milk an advantage against the Titans.
@AlphaCommando I want to talk more to you tomorrow about expeditions. Don’t let me forget. Not a threat, I just legit think it would slip my mind since I won’t be up when phases change most likely.
Also I need to talk to Chief tomorrow about that thing that I already forgot about. Voting, I think.
I cut out part of that sentence to emphasize which part I’m talking about, but the way I read this almost makes it sound as if the people given roles or Eren and Levi arent very reliable. I think the ace abilities are passive so Levi isnt really a problem, but if you dont trust Eren as an expedition vigilante that could be a problem
I’m unsure how much I can say on this topic and whether it’d even be a good idea to if it was allowed.
For clarification’s sake I meant “Me knowing two of the most important expedition roles makes embarking on expeditions a potentially extremely advantageous situation”. I’m the only one who decides who goes were in expeditions, so I’m happy that I know the identity of those roles.

Mafia know who is Mafia. They dont need a list of confirmed civilians. The confirmed civilians are anyone other than themselves.
Mafia will look to hit anyone who’s not suspicious by the town because those people will get lynched during the day. So Mafia would hit those who are confirmed civs by the town first.
