SRK MAFIA XVII - ATTACK ON TITAN:End of Day 8 - The Grim Reminder (Civilians lose!)

I pushed for the CK vote initially because:

  1. he edited a post with “unicorns” - what the hell is that? Especially after I did a post edit earlier and got a lot of negative feedback and others saying anyone who edits would be heavily scrutinized.

  2. his death would have given decent info - Aug defended him hard at the time and BK called the edit a mafia slip up.

I got my first job interview tomorrow. Yay

Depending on how this night phase goes will give me a better idea of who to focus on.

@RF - Can I hold on to the detailed explanation until this night phase is over?

It’s nothing groundbreaking but it could tip the mafia’s decision on what they do tonight.

If I die I’ll put in in my LG so you’ll get your explanation (and then some) regardless.

I do think these games could be more entertaining by not allowing Last Gasps.

No, Auggy, I haven’t forgotten about you. But with the new evidence that has arisen from yesterday’s voting patterns, there’s a bigger lead on those people than I had on you. Therefore, I’m going to persue keeping tab on them over you.

Try not to feel too neglected, okay?

I’ll pay attention to you Red

Lynch Augustus

And chief, sure thing. Just don’t forget or let me forget. It’d be pretty suspicious if you just happened to forget explaining your vote, and then I’d just have to know what allegiance you are

Aight, I’m here for a little before my ride picks me up.

I don’t have much to add with regards to the EOD that fuzz, alpha and others haven’t already said, except one idea that I didn’t really see get stated.

I think D’nyc3 forgetting to pm his vote here is actually quite villagery (Assuming CK isn’t mafia, which I still think he is not). If D’nyc3 was mafia, theres no way that mafia chat doesn’t stress the point for him to actually pm his vote to hecatom. He has already stated his vote in thread and was holding to it, so its not like he was “missing” the vote in order to avoid being on a mislynch.

Also, Duke I agree that I think games without LG’s are more interesting. It makes for some more interesting dynamics in the game, especially with regards to how power roles are played

Counterpoint: he posted it in the mafia pm but not his role pm

Well if he had posted his vote in mafia chat, wouldn’t his teammates tell him to make sure he posted it in his role pm was well to make sure it counts?

I voted due to the fact that he edited…idk just looks real suspect IMHO

@RadicalFuzz I wouldn’t really call my vote on CK as self-preservation but I can understand how it is seen as such in context to what transpired around that time.

While that is likely, it’s also possible that he still forgot to PM it anyway.

The vote patterns are kinda where you guys lost me. I can decipher posts down to the smallest detail all day. I cant really see anything important in the votes outside of some of the weird solo ones. Like Icege voting for William.

I mean self preservation in that if you hadn’t voted for him you’d be dead

Ah ok.

The fact is, DG voted last, and DG is who ended up saving CKs live and forcing a tie vote.

Yes, but at that point no one knew that D’Nyc3’s vote was not submitted via PM.

Thats true, was his vote part of your vote count you posted?

If so, its likely the vote was intended to push CK over the top and not force a tie, in which case I vote we lynch DG. CK could be all but cleared if DG comes up dirty.

Actually, I didn’t count D’Nyc3’s vote in my vote count post. So it all depends if DG was going off of my count or if he was counting himself.

So many variables. Any competent mafia will have their own vote totals anyway. And they’d also be posting public vote counts that weren’t entirely accurate but still close enough to be defensible.
