Okay, okay, so, I follow 3SL’s logic. There’s no reason for him to claim as mafia unless we’re dealing with a sacrifice in order to draw out RCs, which, you know, will be unsuccessful, as we don’t need to reveal any roles to dispose of him. It’s very possible for him to be Van Piccolo, because when he did this the last time, he was acting very differently, like he knew he would get killed, whereas this go around, he’s acting like he wants to make sure that he can use the role that he’s claiming to its fullest potential.

You posted a safe-seeming day one lamentation that there’s not much to go on. It read like a safe mafia checkin post. Nothing more. The defensiveness afterward is much more telling. When I’m mafia, the temptation to jump on any notion of suspicion of me in the thread is extremely high. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what you’re going through now.

3SL, you seem to be under the impression that you cannot be enforced two nights in a row. This confused me, as that has never been a rule before. I’ve checked and, like I thought, you are wrong. Enforce can be used on the same player infinitely. The silence ability is the one that cannot be used two nights consecutively.

Also, you gain stocks when a mafia member dies by ANY means, not just from your actions. I don’t see how you can devalue your role so much. Now, we will need to tie up the martyr each night phase to ensure your continued survival.

Also, if the medic gets a strong read on the UC I would urge you to consider protecting them indefinitely, as your protection does not affect their investigation results.

Oh yeah, I already hinted at RC’ing earlier in the game just in case no one noticed. I’ll proving quotes if needed, I just didn’t plan on doing so quickly during the game. I changed my mind pretty much based on stocks. I’m going to spend it if I got it. That’s just the type of guys I am. That’s the ONLY way to kill a mafia aside from voting, and I don’t plan on sitting on it. Voting is the other reason, I got voted off the second day last game, and I didn’t really want to wait till I got threatened with a lynch to come out and say " oh by the way don’t vote for me cause i’m piccolo"
As far fetched as it was for me to do it this way, I believe it would have been less believable to do it in the face of a possible lynch. Although the more I’m reading through the tread the more trouble I think I’m in.

If you have limited stocks, you should save them until we have a really good idea of who’s mafia. You’ve played enough to see situations where we’d really like to make more than one kill at a time when we have strong reads. Use your power then. Day 1 reads are unreliable for the most part.

I have no idea why people with roles feel the need to use them right away.

well…fuck. I actually knew about the stocks, that’s why I’m not afraid of using one tonight. There’s, at least in my mind, a good chance going into tonight’s phase that I’ll have two at my disposal. The enforce however is a problem that I guess I misunderstood.

Obviously, it’s your call but I would caution you to wait until you feel convinced in a read or until one of the mafia is killed. A vigi with two stocks is a much greater threat than a vigi with one.

We won the Phoenix Wright game without a Vigi so I’m already playing as if we don’t have one.

It took 3SL 5 minutes to decide to role claim. He made a post then within 5 minutes he posts his RC before anyone else could get a word in.

He’s doing his own thing and if he’s vigi, that type of play is bad for us.
