At this point, I don’t think it matters. At least now, you don’t have to worry about sacrificing yourself if you don’t want to.

Bious is 95% clean. You won’t know for sure until either endgame or when Fukawa or Hagakure dies. If Mafia saw that they could pull this and it’d have this sort of impact, well played.

Fluff has already made a couple of reasons clear, but there’s one thought that might be the biggest reason, but that might just be me overestimating myself. I can’t find it, but it was something along the lines of investigating a player that had strong posting potential in order to get a good team of players together when Kirigiri dies. I guess we’ll find out the full reason endgame.

Looks like my only chance now is that Oowada and/or Junko is Civ and is paying attention to this game. Also looks like there’s no reason to keep my role a secret now. For those of you who couldn’t figure it out, here’s some lines to read between.

*What can we gleam from this? If anything I’m learning towards both Junko and Oowada being Civ roles. But it’s not outside the realm of both of them being mafia. Junko is definitely a toss up though because if she was mafia and died to save him then Alpha Commando would have definitely went down at night time because of the Vigi or would have got lynched tomorrow. 4 strongest:
1. Maizono. With Kirigiri being the only confirmed Civ role, being able to manipulate her results is a powerful tool. Also prevents the Civs from being able to use the target ability.
2. Fujisaki. An easy way to force a quick game over (when numbers are nearing even). For example, let’s say it’s 7 Civs/5 Mafia/1 Nagito. Day phase is announced, Fujisaki submits his lynch vote immediately and ends the day phase. One vote is recorded and that person is lynched.
3. Ishimaru. Has the advantage over Mikan of being able to use his ability without everyone knowing that role is Mafia. Also takes away the temporary immunity.
4. Koizumi. Her ability used in conjunction with the Mafia kill allows for an easy find of the Medic if the target is protected that night. ‘If you successfully protect someone, you die.’ is an amazingly powerful role.

If you’d like any justification on the reason any of the other roles weren’t mentioned, I can share my thoughts on their individual strengths and weaknesses. Here’s a couple that I think deserve special mention:

Togami. His role in itself isn’t particularly powerful (at all), but his Civ ability could be used to jeopardise certain Mafia roles, so taking that away from the civs would be a priority where the Mafia team makes it obvious which roles are Mafia.
Asahina. Her Mafia role isn’t particularly special (it can even be incriminating), but her Civ ability is a threat to the Valedictorian. If Asahina does turn out to be Mafia, we should be looking at the selfish, egotistical players for potential Valedictorians.
Oowada. Another one of the characters more focused on the statistical victory of Mafia. Slightly more advantageous than Chiaki, as a Mafia member is day lynched/Syo killed instead of sacrificed. Keep an eye out for Oowada if Fujisaki is Mafia and vice versa.
Nekomaru. A very ballsy recruit possibility. It works on the preface that Nekomaru is controlled by a powerful player, so he would only be recruited by someone who likes to gamble. If Nekomaru was an insightful player, that would not only give Mafia continuous support, but it would stop the Civs from receiving their continuous support. Would be more likely to be recruited if someone powerful hinted that role in the sign-up thread before allegiances were chosen. As far as I can tell, I don’t think there was anyone that did this.

Also, now that we know a few things this becomes much more interesting. Alpha obviously told at least a bit of the truth here, having recruited Maizono and probably Ishimaru.

He obviously didn’t recruit Nekomaru, though it might’ve turned out well for him since his gamble would’ve paid off.

Oowada could go either way, but I guess we’ll find out tonight. Medic/Pimp need to work together to prevent a possible double kill from happening. Triple if Syo kills incorrectly again.

From his actions before death, I think there’s a good chance Alpha recruited Asahina. By saying we should look at the selfish/egotistical players if Asahina is found to be Mafia he pushes possible suspicion off of himself if he did recruit her since he doesn’t really fit the description he set of the Valedictorian in that instance.

Togami. I don’t think he recruited him, based on his own reasoning. Togami’s civilian ability is dangerous to the Mafia if they utilize many public, Mafia-only abilities like Oowada’s double kill. From knowing he recruited Maizono and Ishimaru, 2 roles whose Mafia abilities are either hidden or are feasible Civilian moves, I doubt he would’ve recruited Togami.

And @DarkGeneral I admit that Alpha would’ve responded in a much safer manner if you two had been communicating in the Mafia PM. You’re looking cleaner to me than you were previously. I’m fine with being proven wrong, good on you :tup:

Actually i think that Byakuya should Role Claim, he can confirm who is the Vigi, and if anyone doubts him, he could be killed by the vigi or lynched the next phase to prove himself
Of course the vigi needs to be protected, also this can help to show some other mafia that have been showing some sings in the radar
