What I have to say for myself is that voting PW makes it more likely that me and MP tie, which is what Mafia would want to happen if MP was actually mafia.

Everyone voted for MP I mean I’ll just be hopping on the band wagon at this point, I’d like to look to the future before vote results come in. If MP is civ is PW lynched next just to cover bases? is he exonerated? I’m trying to play this game out long term not just see what’s immediately ahead.

As for my reasons, it had been reinstated multiple times by others already.
That said, personally, I prefer it if the amount of role claimants is kept to a minimum because of the Valedictorian’s ability.
Two is the most we could have at a time.

I say we leave PW alive for a while and give him a chance to prove himself. Other than what to do beyond that, well… I think whatever happens at the end of today and the actions of tonight will set us in a clearer direction. If MP is civ, then we know that his advice is well-intentioned. If not, then that puts us on a track to who the mafia is.

I merely pointed out the contradictions in your line of logic. Justifying your past vote with a future piece of evidence doesn’t make sense. As for protecting OZ, I never tried to stop you from voting for him. Having said that, OZ is displaying his usual civ behaviour, so I’m more inclined to believe his civ. There is one thing missing though. @orochizoolander, if I was to vote for you next day phase, how confident would you be that you’d die as a civ?
I asked him because I wanted to know if he was merely putting pressure on you or if his actions (in his mind) were actually justifiable. As for the clarity of his vote, voting because he was salty wasn’t even something I’d considered. If you truly think that’s the reason (and you aren’t just joking :P), then I’m willing to lower my pursuit of him.
I don’t think I can claim credit for that idea. DarkGeneral was the one pushing for everyone to answer that question and I think it was Fluff(?) that originally asked the question.
So it looks like everyone’s going with the safe vote instead of trying to fish out Mafia. During these early days, these safe votes may end up being beneficial, but at one point, we have to start trying to lynch Mafia members.

The situation that you described is hard for me to come to a confident conclusion on first thought. Since it would be a final vote then I’d obviously want to make the best informed decision that I could. Even with 12 pages and numerous posts by yourself (and a few for OZ) it’s still day 1 and my reads on both of you aren’t that strong as of yet. So, I’d have to go back and read both of your posts over to give you the definitive answer of which one of you I’d vote for. *
Don’t go back through the entire thread just for that, just thought a little hypothetical questioning was in order. To be blunt about it, it was a bit of a stupid question to ask someone like you who doesn’t like making decisions without a lot of research.
