Once again, sleep wastes too much time in life. I wanted to create more characters and/or play Kingdoms of Amalur for the first time, but I was instead warp-zoned into sleep-mode immediately last night. I don’t remember falling asleep…and I didn’t even get a cool dream out of it, like the singularity-warp end of the world/Conversation with Jason Voorhees/“I’m a Bio-weapon from Resident Evil now” scenario from a few days ago. I think dreams are consistently better than LSD trips, atually… you never really know what you’ll get when venturing into Dreamland each night, if you’re lucky enough to remember it, at least.
Man, the disappointing thing with the Bio-Weapon segment of that dream was that I woke up before I got to brutalize and kill things. I was all hyped for it like “awww yeah it’s on NOW…”, and my orders were to kill a certain special forces team that had been deployed to the city… I was on my way to slaughter every last one of them, then bam I woke up before getting started.
Back on SC5 for a sec… Viola style is awesome and fun… too bad her damage kinda sucks. Ms. Carriage will forever use that style since it’s also convenient for the concept of her character (*the floating skull orb = the soul of her dead child, assisting her in battle!)

I have this thing where I don’t like media where women are portrayed as more powerful or even equal with men. If it is something like wizards being wizardly or something, I’m fine with that (actually it bothered me in Harry Potter, but lots of things about harry potter bothered me), but for fighting? Nope. Dragons or monsters or magic or super science I can accept, but a chick beating a dude in a fight to me is stretching things too far.

then you should have watched the WHOLE video. He just discusses how Superman’s death didn’t kill Superman, it killed Death. Which I agree with. I stopped reading Supes after that. At least they had the awesomeness of Hal Jordan going batshit insane after, but Superman, he was back to life a few issues later. Everybody kinda knew he wasn’t staying dead, but I expected him to die for like a year or two, not a week or two.
