50K a year is hard to pass up, but if you’re gonna be making that kind of money, why not just move closer to the job rather than driving 2 hours one way?

I have to agree with Charlie…
I know the difference between playing “hard to get” and “leave me alone”. A girl will play hard to get for a while and yield after a few months, not over a year. She could’ve easily got him based on how he was wildin’ out over her and I’m sure she knew it.
After a while it would be too risky if she wanted that dough, because he could easily move on by then.

go to switch characters when my opponents last remaining character (Hulk) x-factors…walk backwards with sentinel for like ten seconds holding the tag-in button, with no result. Nobody is attacking, its just me slowly moonwalking with a giant robot. So when does Ammy decide to tag in? When my opponents Hulk does a fucking random full screen hyper (the one where he punches the ground and giant rocks fall down). Seriously, you’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.

Charlie Sheen should be a verb and a noun. As a verb it should carry the meaning of the explicit act of having a drugged out orgy with copious amounts of women.
Example: “I would totally Charlie Sheen the shit out of all them actresses in that Jimmy K vid!”

you can say what you want about charlie sheen being an asshole or a druggie but damn, it is really refreshing to hear an actor just honestly saying something that most of them probably think anyway.
i gotta give him props for that. he clearly just doesn’t give a fuck.
So I started watching Mad Men last night. iunno what to really think so far. I only got about 3 or 4 episodes into it and then some personal stuff hit the fan with my parents and I, so I didn’t really bother watching the rest of it.
But from what little I watched…I’m not seeing the hype. I love the atmosphere and a lot of the dialog. But all the characters are really bland and uninteresting.
I’m hoping that changes. I’ll probably get back to watching it once my head clears so it can get my full attention.
+1 for Mad Men getting Maggie Siff though. I think she’s gorgeous.

The first season takes its sweet time building up steam and setting up the story threads that carry on throughout the series. And many characters who seem bland by design (cough Don Draper cough) will steadily reveal quite a bit to their personalities. It’s not a show that runs on shocking soap opera revelations or shorthand bits of characterization. It requires an investment of patience.
