@Mood4food77 I actually much preferred perma weather. Now there’s a bunch of pokemon playstyles that don’t work anymore. XY is just boring to me compared to older generations.
I want Gen V’s metagame back. I found myself way more able to play more pokemon.
Stuff like Shedinja, and Aron was viable in Gen V.
I used to have a legit level 1 team in the old metagame.
Now it’s just priority everywhere and hyper offensiveness.
Despite all of things available in Pokemon X and Y, very little things work.
Gamefreak stepping in and trying to balance their game made it worse imo.
Or maybe I should just run bullshit trolling teams that don’t win much but when they do win it’s hilarious.
sheddy wasn’t viable in 4th gen, what makes you think he was in 5th gen when weather was more prominent
and aron wasn’t viable…ever, even with the sturdy buff he still was useless, it’s not hard to play around fear
gen VI is so much more balanced than gen V ever was, drizzle was so bad last gen, there was almost no such playstyle that was bulky, it was almost all hyper offense once you hit the higher ranks

Remember, its 2 out of 3 rounds with the same rules as last time (Moody, evasion, sleep, and OHKO clauses, no Mewtwo, Xerneas, or Yveltal, No Pokemon with the same # on a team.) There is a loser bracket this time, so don’t give up if you lose.
Also remember that you can switch your team if you lose a round, but your backup team can’t have the same pokemon as your main team. Also your opponent can switch as well if they want.
I’m giving everyone two weeks to get the first round done (Jan. 11).
Question, how many pokemon do we use on a team? All 6?
