So Martian’s opponent hasn’t been online since posting. I’m giving them until the end of Wednesday to show up, otherwise I’m subbing them with whoever wanted in after we started.
Guy is dumb and doesn’t understand why things are banned, VGC rules are dumb and none competetive, seriously, doubles and ubers allowed(before anyone whines about certain pokemon being banned, most ubers are not fair for people who haven’t been playing the game for many years and gotten pokemon from every event and own every game including game cube games). You wanna fight smogon rules, that’s fine, but don’t do it by saying VGC rules are good and competitive, especially since it also has arbitrary bans, I’m sure all smogons rules are terrible, but item clause makes the game better right? GOD I HATE BANNING POKEMON, let’s let everyone use… some of the ubers?
Guy complains “ah smogon are a bunch of whiners, they banned weather” and then weather was nerfed in the next generation, because it turns out it was wildly over powered. Sleep clause was officially in the game, because hey, it turns out out “have an insomnia/magic bounce pokemon or lose to spore” is a terrible game. Evasion clause is whatever, it’s been a long time since that was made and there’s a lot of new stuff to counter evasion, but honestly I think the game needs less random not more.
