They don’t have items, though. No Berries, no Specs, no Sashes, NO SCARVES. Which limits a lot of what they can do. We also don’t know the stat spreads.
Much like everything else that “broken” on paper, they’ll be beatable.

okay, i’m not saying they’re going to be broken as we have no idea yet but just looking at their typing, abilities and the moves they got in the past, latias is going to be really fucking good
so multiscale gives a 50% boost to both defenses when at full health, that’s awesome especially when this thing has quite possibly THE BEST DEFENSIVE TYPING IN THE GAME
so looking at it’s past defensive stats, it has 90/90/130 defenses, so being generous with the boosts, we could be looking at something with 90/110/150 defenses that has multiscale AND is resistant to fire, grass, water, electric, dark, fighting, bug and immune to dragon while only being weak to ice, fairy, steel, and poison
especially when it’s no slouch offensively, has access to roost/recover, basically any non-hazard support options, etc
this thing is going to make people cry
latias has adaptability and draco meteor, and with mega boosts, that’s probably going to be around 170 base SpA, so a base 260 draco meteor coming off of a base 170 SpA (remember, i’m being very generous) it going to plant holes in opposing pokes
i’m not saying they’re going to be broken, i’m just saying that these things are going to be ridiculously good

removing shadow tag, lowering it’s base speed would only make it slightly less broken
if it didn’t have shadow tag, it would be like giving regular gengar a damageless life orb
removing shadow tag would absolutely fix it, that’s literally all that makes it broken. Trapping moves make pokemon amazing, dugtrio is a piece of crap but is absolutely usable because of arena trap, and arena trap isn’t even good(completely ignored by a lot of stuff). Heck I’ve used probopass in OU because Magnet pull makes it amazing. You could slap shadowtag on basically anythinig in the game, no matter how weak/retarded(looking at you wobbufett), and it goes into OU(heck wobbufett was UBERS). They took something that was already a dominating force in OU, made it STRONGER, and gave it the best ability in the game. Even gothitell is pretty good and its everything is pretty bad.
Hopefully this will get addressed when Pokebank comes out… There had better be a crap load of new content that comes with it too.
