I shamefully threw away Gengar and Garchomp like an idiot. I had Azumarill for Blaziken, there was no reason for me to sac Gengar. And I didn’t think you’d go for the obvious Draco with Noivern since Aegislash ate it up last time and set up on it. Only thing I feared from that Noivern was the burn from Flamethrower and you got it, but I was still at +4, no point in switching. Might as well deal as much damage as possible and have Greninja clean up.
apparently, you gain EVs from catching pokemon as well
so watch out for that

Yea, I had absolutely no answer for that Greninja… Maybe Scizor, had I not let it fall asleep, but I wasn’t confident that I could OHKO Venusaur with Greninja’s Ice Beam. Aegislash takes a lot of effort to bring down. I was really depending on that Burn, as it would sweep otherwise. Great Pokemon lol.
What’s better for Noivern… Infiltrator; that’ll let me ignore moves like Reflect, Light Screen, Safeguard, and Substitute and attack, or Frisk; that’ll reveal the opponent’s held item?
Either or is fine. Frisk makes it a good scout while Infiltrator makes it a good revenger/stall breaker.
But yeah, I do recommend getting one with Max Speed and a +Speed nature if you can (I have Perfect Speed Ditto you can borrow if you need it). Noivern actually outspeeds Greninja by one point (base 123 Speed vs 122 Speed), which was pretty crucial in our previous battles since once I found out my Greninja was faster, I could keep your Noivern in check with Ice Beam every time and not fear the Draco Meteor.
Apparently Boomburst also goes through sub.
So Frisk + Boomburst might be cool.
If I recall correctly, the Shell Smash Skill Link set was stolen from white shadow and then later on became OU, correct me if I’m wrong though lol…
252 HP EVs and EVs divided among speed and special attack modest nature.
I’m sure that would give it the bulk for mega evo if needed.
Bulky Sweeper set, if its outsped, it can switch to superior defenses and tank a hit, and counter with a +2 boosted Giga Drain.
