he doesn’t beat rotom-w cleanly:
252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Rotom-W: 151-179 (49.6 - 58.8%) – 65.2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
and rotom-w has volt turn, also using HP grass means you have to give up either dark pulse or u-turn which are really freaking good no him, i also think his best HP is fire as that’ll get past ferrothorn, either that or electric which get rid of the two worst statuses he can have, grass is good but the other two HP’s get rid of things greninja can actually deal with, it’s usually just better to carry a dragon or something for rotom-w, like latios
It would take 4 Hydro Pumps to KO a Greninja if he’s the grass type.
It’s a guaranteed 2HKO on any Rotom that is not calm natured. Even when calm natured, if running less than 252 sp. def EVs, it still an almost guaranteed 2HKO.
rotom has volt switch, it’s not staying in on greninja, it’s better to deal with rotom with someone else, also, greninja learns grass knot which deals with everything else way better, it’s really not worth it to run HP grass over u-turn/HP fire/HP electric, leave the rotom killing to the dragons, blissey, ttar, etc.
If you play stall…you forfeit the right to quit. If you’re entire strategy is to be annoying, then when someone finds a way to beat it (either through your own incompetence or someone’s superior play) then you take that L and get swept like a man. I don’t care if you leave before saying gg, because when I’m salty after a loss I don’t say it either, but I at least let you sweep me if it’s a forgone conclusion.
He tried to employ stall tactics (toxic, burn). I outplayed him, he rage quitted when his stall tactics failed. It may not have been a stall team, but he sure tried to play it like it was.
wait…there were stall tactics? i just saw him flail about
yea, maybe we should stop posting vids of really bad players and just use ones that are against good ones, like good matches in general, not one against a scrub
Team Mega Venusaur again. They reset the ladder apparently so cool shit, I played these back to back.
I was scared of that second guys team, I made some risky guesses that worked. I didn’t know whether he was going to aura sphere, close combat or swords dance. Two outcomes were in my favor, one wasn’t if I decided to go for EQ so I YOLO’d one of those out and won.
MegaCario is a beast. MegaSaur puts things to sleep and handles fighting types that would give me trouble.
