So…Assault Vest Snorlax is viable…I’ve been wanting to use him for the longest and I got my wish. Body Slam, Self-Destruct, Fire Punch, and Earthquake.
He soaks up Hydro Pumps, Ice Beams, and Fire Blasts like they aren’t nothin, and then if anyone thinks he’s setup bait and brings in their Mega? Self Destruct.
Mega Bannete, Thundurus, and Mandibuzz (I’m running taunt over whirlwind, it’s working out so far) are there for stall hate. Mega Bannette is there in purely a support role. It’s there to take down either other Megas or other pokes I’m having a tough time with (usually Genesect) and PP Stall Chansey and Blissey to death if they don’t have anything other than Seismic toss as a move. Snorlax can alternatively act as a wallbreaker (The body slam parahax is real) as can Talonflame because I’m running a Sharp Beak Sword Dance Brave Bird set. Talonflame is there just to punch Super Large holes in teams to the point where no can stop the Kyruem from sweeping.
i really don’t like mega bannete, it has low powered moves and is frail as shit, it does have pranskter, but doesn’t have everything he needs to abuse it, you could definitely use sableye in this spot to a much greater effect
also, mandibuzz isn’t a great whirlwind user, but an awesome defogger, not saying what you’re doing is wrong as it’s not but i don’t see many mandibuzz using it for whirlwinds
i’m still iffy on assault vest snorlax, he’s still really bad against physical attacks and doesn’t have the speed to really take advantage of only attacking, which is why his curse set is probably still his best, he also wants those leftovers recovery due to lack of reliable recovery outside of rest (and crazily enough, he’s not the best rest user), although AV snorlax probably makes zard Y his bitch. blissey actually still does the special walling way better and can pass off wishes to the rest of your team if you want, and not many things like to be toxic’d, i used seismic toss/softboil/flamethrower/toxic and had quite a bit of success with it, i just feel blissey would help your team better on teh defensive side than snorlax would even though snorlax’s offense is way better than blissey’s, your team doesn’t lack offense
if you really want an offensive AV user, go with conkeldurr, he’s probably the best user of it right now

Snorlax being super weak to physical moves is a good thing (at least for me). He’s mainly there to lure in either a Mega or a Setup Sweeper. Then Self-Destruct. SD either kills or severely weakens the poke down to revenge kill range.
Sableye does not have Destiny Bond and thus cheat my opponent out of a win. The sole reason I run Mega Bannete is First Turn Protect, Destiny Bond shenanigans to revenge kill troublesome pokes.
I was running whirlwind to get the things like Chansey and Blissey out of there before they start parahaxing or toxicing my whole team. I need to find the space to run knock off though…
In any case, The whole point of my team is to murder stall…not become stall so I have no idea why you’re suggesting I run stalley sets…
