They’re easy to work on. Incredibly easy.

Alignments on jeeps were a pain in the ass for me and others. The wrangler I was setting the OEM specs for was fucked up. As soon as I got camber right, the toe and caster got thrown out, when I worked on correcting toe, the camber got thrown off, then when I worked on caster the toe went out of spec. I knew 3 others that told me this is the reality of jeeps, and they too went through the frustration of alignment. “When people say it rides like a jeep, now you know why”

Those new liberty or what ever they are called that look like some luxury suv. I swear every owner is a fucktard shit head on the road, especially the white ones, they took the crown away from mommy missiles, Prius drivers, and lifted truck bro-downs as king of rage provoking shitty drivers.

@shaft agent, do this

One of the founders of HKS passed away today. I’m a fan of their products, would fit a cat back on my si if there is one. So today I’ll be wearing my shirt.

Father of kid diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer buys him his dream car.

Anybody catch the first episode of The Grand Tour? It was fantastic!

When I was in Hawaii, there was this group called KMA racing. They charged me $500, which included parts and labor, to replace the transmission on my RX7 at the time with a used transmission which worked perfectly fine. The old transmission, all of the gears whined, except for 4th gear.

KMA stood for Kiss My Ass, lol

Wonder if they’re still around…

Recently I discovered a couple fb pages dedicated to old and mid school touge riding and one that a guy has most of the magazine issues of this one:
http://madriders.es/BariBariMa6.html

So much good shit as the dude scans most of the pages. But I’m like the only American, non-japanese, bike enthusiast that gets a hard on for this stuff. I guess I’m a “bike-taku” or some shit as even some of the most gear headed riders I know think I’m probably weird for sharing some of it on social media. Ah well, this is what got me to get into riding motorcycles and 6 years later from watching a POV video of these dudes flowing touge, I’m still just as excited to see more of it, especially when the style changed in the 90s.

Turn10 (Forza devs) are getting a Ford GT

Order Kit unboxing

They’re going to have it on display in their lobby

Had possibly my first car dream. I’m walking around a used car lot when I see this white Nissan 180SX that has SSR chrome/metal deep dish with the bronze mesh wheels and when I popped the hood, it had a diagram of the motor that covered the top of the motor. I then go inside the sales building and talk to my friend, who’s father is the owner of the lot. And asked if I could trade in my civic si and have money back as well. He then said he had to make a call and that’s when I woke up.

Now I want a 180SX with those wheels… Need to find a reputable importer and see if its a possibility. I think its a sign from higher above that I get one. May have to wait and see if my dad wants to get a 240z project car before doing so but either way, when I start making decent money, I’m 99% sure I’m going to do it.

Someone buy my 2009 Civic Si. I’m in Seattle!

I got a hold of a local importer so now its a matter of getting through school and making decent enough money to do it. I knew about this car years ago, but had my attention on a Silvia or R34 as a Nissan that I’d enjoy owning some day, but when I was checking out videos on the 180, I definitely can see myself owning on and tracking it at Road America or BIR.

any useful links on buying a car? I’ve never really need one where I live (BC) but now moving out I think it’s time for one.

Do you have an idea of what you want? There’s a forum for just about every manufacturer and model out there, they are usually the best source of information for model specific information and what to look out for with issues/recalls/etc.

What he said^ and YouTube, Google. Just ask your question and you’ll most likely get the answer

If you want to watch people with stupid amounts of money buy cars RM Sotheby’s auction is being live streamed on youtube

95% of diy threads when some guy claims a time of completion. Either he’s full of shit, that’s the only task he does for a living, or he’s the fucking Flash. I’m going to post this meme every time I read some one says “It only takes x amount of minutes/hours”

I can count on one hand how many times I’ve been close to some of these ridiculous claims and if I could, use the other hand to punch the liar in the balls.

Anyone have a Saturn?

I clicked “uh… no” because nobody should own a saturn :stuck_out_tongue:

Also it depends on the job and the complexity of a car. The first time it usually takes some time but every time after is much quicker.

I own a Vauxhall Astra (Opel in mainland Europe) which I believe you guys call a Saturn Astra in the US and Holden in Australia

I did a few mods to mine so it doesn’t look like a granny car

I thought it was just Pontiac that was affiliated with Holden but then again maybe before Saturn went under, they were bought out?

So I never been on vacation before. Like traveling besides for work and school. Once I get through school and begin my career, I will plan on doing so. The vacation spot will be The Nurburgring and possibly Spa which is near by. Planning on doing so on a supersport bike, but I may rent a car to mix it up. I know to ride/drive the ring can be done for dirt cheap but the kicker is everyone and anyone can too, from econobox cars to straight up race cars. Regardless, it will be one heck of a vacation than some typical tourism shit.
