Cars i own
2009 335d BMW
2004 Honda Pilot
1996 Honda Civic
Anyway, i was thinking of putting some rims on my Civic. Anyone recommend one that will look nice but not too expensive. I dont want spend more then $500. My civic is black.
I read somewhere that stock Coopers feel stiff. I’ve been driving a Honda Civic for the past 6 years, so in comparison, which one drives more smoothly? I’d figure that with a smaller car, you’d have more control since it weighs less, but I don’t know too much about automobiles. Forgive my novice questions.
Stiff is a relative term. What may be stiff to one may not be stiff enough to another. Stock for stock, handling wise, I like the Mini Cooper more. That’s saying a lot too because I am a hardcore Honda head. Put the Mini Cooper up against a EG hatchback on a track, both modified to my personal preference, I would pick the Honda over the Mini Cooper.
lol, thanks, but I dont race. I am just a normal driver, but I am looking into getting a new car in the next few months, so a first hand impression would help greatly. I don’t do much driving, but I enjoy having compact cars since I dont carry a lot of shit with me. But I’ve read that Coopers are good about trunk space since you can put the back seats down. Honestly, a Cooper is a 2 seater car and I never really saw what the point was of having the back seats to begin with.
I was wondering about the stereo system too. I kinda want to switch it out with my own pick, but I am afraid it might be costly and look out of place if a different stereo is placed.
Just head over to a BMW dealership that has a Mini sub-dealership and test drive the car yourself. You may/may not like the feel of the car, but it does have lots of potential.
I just bought a 2005 Jeep Wrangler. I just moved to Cheyenne and I see all the nice ass lifted Jeeps with oversized wheels. I just wanted to know a typical lift price… maybe like 1’’ maybe 1.5". I don’t really want to lift it but I do wanna try some of the dirt roads here… any suggestions?
I see them EXCLUSIVELY on Civics and nothing else.
Still got my '06 tC. Haven’t done much to it in the past couple years. 45k miles on it, 95% of it is local driving. Intake/header, navigation unit. Contemplating putting a turbo in it; although I don’t race the engine, I do wonder about the stability of it if I bolt on a turbo with already so many miles on the clock. Do I weigh that against Toyota reliability? eh. :chat:
Reason why i went w/ the D is cuz they were accepting the Cash for Clunkers $3,500 + $4,500 from BMW, + $900 gov tax + good gas mileage 36mpg…So instead of $50K car i got it for 40k.
The trails aren’t rated, but I heard they can get a little crazy… The tires I don’t really know about- they look maybe 2-3" bigger than the standard Goodrich tires that I got. And they are also wider.
