I figured you did. But itās worth it. You can always get another 5th gen prelude though. Let me know how you like it. Because the s2k has been on my must own list for a while.
Itās slicks doe, I want to see it without slicks.
I cannot wait until the real beast time is posted. I want it so bad to destroy the records. Really the most underrated car of itās era, and possible the best performing car relative to itās price and competitors. Till this day, the 2008 Dodge Viper ACR is the top car of itās generation. No production car from that time can compete. No rear engine car, no mid engine car, nope. A front engine, rear wheel car is king of that era.
USA, USA, USA, USA, USA
I do wish GM would just go fucking ham with the C7 one last time making an ACR competitor before the butcher the Corvette name and give me a mid engine car.
This isnāt on slicks these are on Pirelli P Zero Corsas, from what I understand only laptimes done using road legal tyres can be logged as official NĆ¼rburgringā¬ laptimes.
Motor Trend got to test the LaFerrari, they couldnāt race it against the P1 and 918 but they were able to pull some data to compare performance figures.
this is pretty much guaranteed to rape everything BMW makes. Given that the Cadillac ATS-V already destroys the M4 in every single way imaginable and category but style because thatās subjective.
and if the Ford GT is as good as it looks. LOL, why buy any non Pagani European Exotic. Hennessy already has the fastest car ever, and the GT should be a true circuit beast like the other older GTās.
Where you at Japan? Not even registering on the performance scale anymore
Well America has always been about big power in their cars. I mean when it comes down to it, its all about preference. Iād love to own a BMW Z4 GT3, granted there are cars out there with better numbers, the Bimmer is what I like.
i wouldnāt mind owning a Charger/Challenger though, it would be the first American car I owned since my 91 Escort GT, lol.
Japan has decided to go the economic route with their cars. All about looking goofier and goofier every generation. I like how Magnus Walker said it āI donāt worry about miles per gallon, but more so smiles per gallonā Basically how much the car makes you smile when you drive it.
I will give props to the American cars though. They seem to be more focused on giving more people the option to own a driverās car.
Japan gets wrecked by Ford alone. I mean why buy anything Japanese at this point with all the aftermarket you can get for a mustang? Not only that, all the rally bros cars are gonna look like shit when guys start tuning the Focus RS.
I am waiting to see if Toyota is going to get it right with the Supra. They had better put a turbo straight 6 in it and make it competitive with the vette for 60k
Also I am certain the next gen GTR is going to go beast mode and be a game changer like the R35 was, lets hope this time they can keep up when Porsche responds this time.
Well, Iām kinda hyped for the NSX, but I donāt have any reservations that it will make the same impact it did back in 91. That car really shit on everybody, especially Ferrari.
I want more companies to make better driver cars. I hate that all companies only sell you their best performance machines with a bunch of useless shit like GPS, Leather, electric seats, heated seats, rearview cameras, etc.
But at least some companies are really putting their best foot forward with some of their cars.
This is the new golden era of cars where we can have real power and real handling all at once. Thereās no excuse to sacrifice one or the other, or make it something thatās reserved only for 250+k cars. Those days are over, Corvette and Viper proved that in 07-08.
I feel you on the drivers cars. I really want America to respond with the affordable slow car you can drive fast ala GT86. You can get a decent viper for 35k but I wouldnāt want to drive that thing for I would wrap it around an oak tree in 10 minutes. I like the car you can drive the piss out of without commiting suicide.
This guy has the right idea. When I am better off I will look into trying that with an old beat up FA rx-7
Had my bikeās ecu tweaked through a piggyback system and dyno tune:
[details=Spoiler]
[/details] The readings are to the wheel, and compare to 600 supersports, this 750 has a bit more grunt and while I actually lost some power on the peak end compare to a similar gsxr 750(the ābeforeā hp and tq lines are when the system was zeroād), the trade off was more useable power and it got rid of the issue of having the bike go flat around 4500-5000rpms and then surges and jerks above 5k. Now the bike feels similar to my past cbr1000rr, and could be even more powerful from a dig due to changing the gearing. Last sunday, went to a car meet and saw some really nice cars which Iāll post up later.
Iāve only done the motorcycle ones, but if itās any similar to it, I say do it if you enjoy driving and want to have fun with out having shit in the way(commuters, animals, crappy road conditions, police). Every track day I do with an advance riding school I learn new things or retouch on stuff that I may have forgotten. If you know of a school that is at a track, DO IT. You will get your moneyās worth, be a better driver and may get into doing more of it or start doing club racing.
