Yeah man for real. I told my dad to get one because he is always hauling shit too, but then he was like hell naw because everyone is gonna start asking to move shit.
Shouldnât need anything huge. Something small like a ranger or S10 should do, and you can get a decent running one for less than $1000.
Iâm driving an Audi A5. Really satisfied with my purchase, and thereâs only a small, handful of things Iâd like to have done to it before itâs life ends (hopefully, no time soon).
I want a matte black finish, RS5 front fenders, Euro Spec headlamps, dual exhaust tips, the frame lowered slightly, window tints, and more horse power courtesy of a few ECU tweaks, etc.
thoughts on scion tc?
You know, next time some asshole comes here thinking that SF players are broke or donât do anything with their lives Iâll just point them to this thread.
First MMDSâs BMW, now your Audi. Doesnât Pablo drive a MKIV Supra? Who else on SRK rolls with a nice ride that cost a good piece of change?
One of my coworkers, who posts here occasionally has a late model year Supra. His name is actually 1997SupraTT or something.
Why you mad? Itâs mostly true.
And what youâll notice that most people with good money/lives/nice cars arenât the hardcore SFIV youtube studying, refuses to work because it will take from the maaad link training time y0 types.
also some people are telling me that when buying from a dealer you can get the price knocked down some by paying all in cash, while other people are saying no, you get the price knocked down by pretending like you want financing. which is it?
I was thinking of getting a new Tundra, how are they in terms of pickup trucksâŚI was going to buy a Toyota Tacoma but the asian wife was like, you funny in small truck, you buy big truck.
Not true at all im a high level Gief player in SF2, SFIV are for losers anywayâŚ
You can get the price knocked down regardless, easier with cash, but it is possible to talk numbers when financing as well. Depends on a lot of factors.
What make and model, how much down you have, is it sought after model/color/year, can they afford to sit on it, ect?
i think ive got it narrowed down to a 06-08 civic ex or 06-08 scion tcâŚanyone have experience with both or an opinion on which would be better?
where can you get a Ranger or S10 for less than $1000? Iâve missed out on a couple of Arcade Machines because I have no way of hauling things.
You can only put so much in a Rx-8 and an Accord.
Craigslist. Youâre in Texas so it might be a bit higher but here in PA Iâve found 88-95 S10âs inspected starting at $850.
I beat the hell out of my S10 and it lasted for years until some dumb girl on her cell phone totalled it out running a red light.
Iâm not too up on trucks, especially the larger ones Iâve heard good things about the Tundra. However when it comes to larger trucks I always hear Ford and Dodge are it. We have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with an 8 foot bed and it rides like a cadillac and hauls any/everything we need and more.
If you are buying new, and a bank owns the car (like a lot of honda/toyota dealers) you wonât have much luck lowering the price. Not sure about used.
Nothing too special about it, itâs just like a Civic/Accord, Tier wise (Price range) I think it is in-between?
Since you are buying used, you should focus on the carâs condition first and see which car gives higher value:money ratio.
Civic should be lower maintenance cost (since itâs everywhere, hence lower price for parts). tC in theory should be pretty good (Toyota) too but for 06-08 range I would give it to Honda (older cars Toyota would be slightly better).
Well, which car you want to drive more?
Depends on how much the dealer bought the car for+how much the dealer put into âsuit upâ the car (new air filter, oil filter, new clean looking wires, an âbathâ for the engine so it look shiny when you open the hood etc). After that it would see how much the dealer want to rip off (I meant PROFIT) from the customer, popular or fancy model they know they can sell for sure then you wonât have much room. Unpopular car (for example: shitty color wagon) then you can bargain more, patience is the key too, take a friend that knows car to go with you if you could, when a person see a pretty used car he loves he will be blinded by the beauty of the car and ignore the flaws of it, your friend there is to keep a cool head and keep things real.
Buying from person usually is better if you have the time and energy to do the research, less rip off factor+normal person donât know/wonât apply the tricks of covering the flaws of a used car.
I take your video and raise youâŚ

That civette is a sick idea, but the fact that it runs high 10âs in the quarter is terrible. I know a guy that owns a full weight, daily driver late 90âs trans am with AC, that runs 9.60âs with nothing but a stout LS1 and nitrousâŚ
Biggzy probably has the most expensive and fastest car on SRK.
I used to own an NSX, along with other sports cars (I think I posted them on the previous car thread, not this one)
Eh, it would depend on the year/model, and alot of other stuff when it comes to the fastest. The older NSX models arent that expensive either. 20K+ maybe, but my previous car ('09 Honda Accord Coupe) was about 25K.
My Audi costs upwards to 50K, though. Bittersweet purchase, I can tell you that.
