Springfield, MO - No, really, we play fighting games here!

Sang and I are at meta. And neither one of us brought a system. We are terrible people.

Haha, I’ll see if I can start bringing setups out. Only missing a small monitor.

Fan fiction time. This one is called “Ryu vs the Master of Winning!”

Ryu looked at the mansion’s front gate with some trepidation. This did not look like the house of a great fighter.

He pushed the call button. A crackling voice responded with “Please state your business here.”

Ryu said, “I am searching for a great warrior. I was told that the one who lives here knows much of victory.”

The call box answered, “I’m not really sure what you’re talking about. Generally, we only want girls, blow, or pizza.”

Ryu contemplated this strange answer. He knew what girls and pizza were, but “blow” was a mystery. Finally, he stated simply, “I will not be denied. I must learn more about victory, and people say that this is the home of the master of victory.”

The call box answered, “I’m sorry, sir, but you should go elsewhere. The man doesn’t have time for you.”

Ryu sighed. In his journeys, he had learned that sometimes one needed to make an impressive entrance in order to convince a teacher that he was a worthy pupil.

He kicked the door off its hinges, shouting out “Joudan Sokutogeri!” Incomprehensible, frenzied squawking came from the call box as Ryu ran towards the mansion.

Ryu arrived at the fountain in front of the main entrance just in time to see a man come out on to the balcony above. He was wearing a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses, and nothing else. Ryu stopped, surprised at the idea that this might be a great warrior who could teach him about victory.

Several naked women wandered onto the balcony, standing nervously behind the man in the Hawaiian shirt.

There was a long silence as the man stared at Ryu, and Ryu stared back.

Finally, Ryu spoke. “I was told that this is the mansion of one who knows much of victory. I have traveled a long way to learn from him. Are you this man?”

Behind his sunglasses, Charlie Sheen smiled and said, “Well, I know a lot about #winning! Come on in and we’ll see what you can learn!”

Charlie Sheen has a really super awesome crouch MP.
Better than Ryu’s.

Hey all, I’ll be at Meta tonight with my setup. I just need someone to bring a PS3 stick. Looking forward to some good games.

Right on. Unfortunately all I have is a 360 stick, which I will bring. I think it’s time to try and engineer my own multi-platform breakout board.

Up at meta now. You should all come out. With systems.

Good games to everybody last night. That was a lot of fun. I’ll be practicing this week.

Sang, here is the link for the Asus monitor rebate. It only works for monitors purchased in July. They run this offer often so anyone that misses out can probably get this in the future.

Sweet men Thanks man. I demand we play on my setup next Monday. And I want to ultra Aniel in the face when he teleports again Ha!.

I approve of that sentence above me.

So angry that Persona: Arena comes out the day after our get together. >:C
Some posts have come up on Youtube detailing the Challenge Modes of stuff and whatnot for about half the cast, btw.

Small rivalry of me and Aniel during our match. I was mad fighting him. Watch our videos in my channel.

Posting here to give a slight heads-up. I might not be able to make it tomorrow since my father is wanting me over for a barbecue to assist with a small party. He said he could only trust my gunshot to OTG for him, so yeah (/fuckingwat?). If I do manage to get out, it’ll be around 8.

So yeah, perfect chance for you to use your new setup, Sang.

A.R.K. V is about a month away and we’d love to see all you guys there! We’re expecting about 200 people from ~10 different states (including confirmed attendance from Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kansas, Louisiana, California, and Oklahoma) and are throwing in at least $1400 in bonus pots to support some of our games (including $600 each for AE and UMvC3). It will be on August 25th/26th in Jacksonville, AR with games such as Super Street Fighter IV: AE, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighters XIII, Persona 4 Arena, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, Soul Calibur V, Street Fighter X Tekken, Mortal Kombat 9, and SkullGirls.

For more information (including an estimate on how much 1st/2nd/3rd will win in AE/UMvC3), visit the official thread here ([Aug 25, 2012] ARK V! Feat. UVG Noel B, EG Ricky O, and EG JWong (Jacksonville, AR 72076)) or holler at me. For anyone who wants to come, I heavily encourage you to preregister online at www.arktourney.com/registration before August 18th to save money on venue fee.

Anyone else planning on going to KC on Aug 11th?

When would you go up there, and when would you return?

We should be there at 12pm leaving around 8:00am and return when we are all eliminated from the tournament or the till the tournament ends which I’m assuming around 10 o clock at night or probably later.

I was so fucking confused for a good 2 minutes as I looked at the July portion of my calendar.

I’d really like to go, but I’m not sure since I’ll also be buying dat Persona in the same week and whatnot. More will develop as the week plays out.

Double Post, but fuck it. I announce a new REBEL for everyone!
