I’m hoping to make it to Meta tonight. I’ve got some work to do around the house that can’t wait so we’ll see. If I can make it, it will be after 7:00.

Definitely headed to meta on Monday. May be going back to a coding position, which means I end up with time after all. And I can feel all cool and programmy again like Caravel and Hypnautix.
I shan’t be there on Monday. Someone will thus have to impersonate my voice and say sarcastic and/or off-color stuff.
I’m actually gonna be taking Monday off as well. Girlfriend wants to go out and whatnot so that time I need to put a relationship before fighting games is starting to happen.
Oh, yeah, Maxout was cool too. Took 3rd in Skullgirls and not terrible in BB.

I’m back! Gaming story from my Japan Trip! Got handed by a 10 year old in SSF4AE 2012.
Kidding, I actually beat up a 10 year old. He was actually a really good ryu player. I go even with him if I use my ryu against his ryu. His mentor was next to him and I got a chance to play against his mentor. I was dominated. Viper and Cammy did not stand a chance. Juri however did but eventually he figured her out in a couple of rounds. The mentor expressed his hatred towards viper and said he does not go easy on viper players at all.

By the way, I don’t go easy on Viper players either. I don’t win but I sure don’t go easy on them.
Dylan, I saw your facebook post in my email. Since I can’t log into facebook while at work I thought I’d respond here. Yep, I’m ready to get some games in too. KOF and even some AE. I’ll see you there.
Tom, I did some research on the backwards compatible PS3. They are available for a resonable price atm but there are some issues with fightsticks not working with the PS2 software. The Mad Catz TE sticks don’t work with PS2 games at all. There are some Hori sticks that do but so far I haven’t found a definitive answer on which ones work and which ones don’t.
Amazon sells a Mayflash fightstick that works on the actual PS2. Otherwise, more research is needed (which I’m willing to do).
