Springfield, MO - No, really, we play fighting games here!

I recently played 5 matches of Puzzle Fighter against a similarly skilled player on PSN. IIRC, I won both matches he played as Akuma and lost 2 (of 5) when he played as other characters.

I’m not set on banning any one player, though I think playing as Dan in a tourney would be bad manner. Then again, I’m not the one arranging the tourney, so it’s not up to me.

Anyone heading to NLG tomorrow, I’ll be there with my setup anywhere from 12-1. Just depends when I get to eat before hand, or if I decide to eat sometime after 5. >.>

And I’ve fixed my Makoto problem in BlazBlue. Turns out, my palette was causing me to fuck up my combo. XP

Excuses, excuses

At Next-Level now. Where is everyone? :frowning:

And speaking of excuses, sorry about my absence today, anyone who was there. My aunt is in town and decided to make today her day to visit my place on a whim, which was fine, it just kinda held up everything else

Will be making every effort to go to Meta on monday, though it will be after class around 6:30

Meta is actually closing at 6PM tomorrow :frowning:

But, if you can make it out at here at all, my place’ll be open if anyone wants to play a bit.

Oh, well poop. That sucks. I appreciate the offer, but I may not be able to afford the extra travel time. Why are they closed?

Some employee dinner or something of that nature. They should be open at their usual hours next Monday though.

Ah, looks as if Fred is gonna be out this Saturday with his monitors at G.A.M.E., so no gaming there. However, I will be attending Max Out in KC this Saturday, so if anyone would like to carpool with me up there, just post here or in the Facebook group post I made and let me know.

Right on! Good Luck up there!

Sorry, but no matter what the game, nothing will be banned from a tourney. I know it would be pretty uncool to troll with Dan, but just all the more reason to make your favorite color red.

Are the tournaments at Next-Level still scheduled for October 22? I ask because there was mention of a change in tournament schedule on Sept. 24 (during the most recent tournaments).

As far as I’m aware, yeah, we’re still on for the 22nd.

Sup guys.

this coming MAXOUT is looking to be the biggest and most hype we’ve ever seen. STL is rolling the strongest they ever have, and all of our killers will be in attendance as well.

For some entertainment, check out the KC/STL threads for the ensuing drama leading up to next months showdown. Hope to see some of you guys out.

Here’s the thread.

Was nice to be able to play for a few hours on Saturday. It’s been a pretty busy semester for me so far. It’s great to see that thing are still going on when I actually get some time to come out to a weekly.

I’m sorry everyone, but I’ve been going through a lot of personal problems, and I won’t be playing, or hosting the tournaments anymore. I’m pretty sure the next tourney will still happen, since we have a few people that know how it works, and have the software anyways.

Regardless, it was fun, and good luck to you all.

Awww, sorry to hear that man :frowning: Well, you know we’re all here if you need anything at all. And of course, you know you’re always welcome to just hang around whether you wanna play or not.

I can certainly help pick up the slack in running the saturday tournaments, so no worries there.
