Hey just a heads up, I no longer live in the Springfield area but I’ll be by that way from time to time. I’m headed up that way this Friday if anyone wants to meet up for some matches. Unfortunately I don’t have a pad or venue we could play at. It will probably be around 7:30-8:00 pm in the evening. Hit me up on here if you guys are interested. I’m crazy rusty but ready for some GGs.

What’s good Springfield? On my way across the country to Evo this year I stopped in at Next Level and really liked the place and what Fred over there is trying to do. Awesome write-up man! We’re certainly still chugging away at trying to build the community, but Fred certainly has been more than accommodating for us, even on weekends were the might only be 2 of us there playing.

Whoa Next Level sounds awesome. What are some good nights to stop in for matches? Looking forward to going.
Saturdays are probably your best bet right now. Mondays as well at Meta Games (though I only have 2 more weeks I’ll be able to attend there due to changes in my work schedule). If you happen to be around Bolivar at all Friday nights, my place is open as well to come out for some games.
I may be able to stop by tomorrow, if that’s cool. Mind messaging me your information so I can get back to you / find it? Looking at getting back into the scene now that I have the time. Springfield will probably start being my best bet since it has a bunch of players and isn’t too far from here.

On the subject of tournaments: I probably won’t be attending today’s (10/22) tournaments. With Dennis not attending, I’m almost certain we won’t have enough players to make a Puzzle Fighter tournament (though I’m sad to say it, because I’d LOVE to play in a Puzzle Fighter tourney). I also won’t be playing in any of the other tourneys and I got a late start on my admin duties today.
I hope to be back next week and playing casuals again! I learned last week just how rusty I am at SSFIV and I need to get my Chun game back in shape.

Obviously I’m still around, certainly interested in some other throwdowns if I have time, especially now that Mondays are out for me.

^ Of course I’m still around, and still interested. I can’t make it up every Saturday, but I go when I can. October has basically been me saving up money to repair my car so I can still go to tourneys and such.
I’ll probably start coming around more often once Ultimate drops.
Hope to see some Springfield heads up in KC next weekend. Going to be the biggest Missouri tournament yet- don’t miss it!
