really?! i assume you’re talking about the whirlwind assist, i wonder if it got changed, i started with that in vanilla but i always wanted it to come out faster and the push back is crazy; it lead to seismo sprees which i liked but i ended up just dropping her out
i suppose the laser would make the push back far more interesting but i just never got used to just how far it pushes them
Also, Iron Man.
I know I’m always big on him, but his assist wasn’t really affected by the nerfs (because of how it works) so it’s like having a vanilla assist on your team. Easily the best beam assist in the game right now, and you always have the option of switching to repulsor for matchups. I switch Iron Man to Repulsor alot more now as Strider Vajra can handle things against many characters.
Thats why I said decent, and whirlwind is definitely decent.
Oh, random thing, with the air dash nerf eye beam is amazing against Magneto and the like moving full screen.
I get alot of use out of eye beam to cover assists against characters with super high durability projectiles.
Dat medium durability beam… so GDLK.
Hey so what do you guys think of Viper/Frank/Doom. Thing is I like Frank and Im trying really hard to get him to work with Viper. If not I guess ill make a seperate team for him. Also that Iron Fist assist is really good for Viper. I think its one of the best assists for Viper but Im debating between Iron Fist or Strider if Frank does not work out
Since you already have doom, I would lean towards Iron fist. Same reason as always, I don’t see a huge benefit in having two Vertical assists. I’d rather have two different tools than two of the same tool.
O I use Hidden Missiles for Doom. Would plasma beam be better?
If you pick strider, than yeah, I would use rocks or beam. If you pick Iron Fist, then stick with missiles.
How do you guys feel about Viper/Doom/Strider
I like it, but I would say Doom should be on Rocks or Beam.

Debating between Spencer, Nemesis, and Ghost Rider for Viper/x/Dormammu, with Viper using whatever assist and Dorm using Dark Hole. Any suggestions?
Welcome to the Viper community! I used to run spencer as an anchor when i played with him on my viper team. I haven’t played ghost rider yet nor nemesis.
I personally think you should alternate between dormammu and viper on point depending on the matchup and put spencer as the anchor
I don’t think Spencer is a very good anchor at all, combofiend be damned…

I’m running Viper/Firebrand/Strider, I feel if I actually learn these characters that pesky ‘blocking’ thing shouldn’t happen any more. ^.^
How do they compliment each other?
Firebrand seems odd on that team… I assume you’re doing one of the dives?
And lol at the no-brainer of Viper/Doom/Strider, it’s so easy juicy.
