Wow! There is some pretty insitefull shit on this board. I wish I would have ran into it earlier. I haven’t even gone past the 2nd page and it’s got me really thinking. I hope I can contribute to this eventually. 
I’m going to be in Houston tonight with the rest of the Corpus crew and I hope to get some 3S going. When I’m not away from the Alpha 2 machine.
Characters I fully intend to get good with: Hugo, Makoto, Yang, Yun, Q, and Oro. Hugo being a huge priority on that list.

Hmm… I’d post some insightful information, but I think I’ll play Planetside instead.
streak: in the tourney when i played you. i was looking for footses so i could low forwardXX super you and you command grabbed me. i have no Q experience so i am not sure. did you kara-cancel something into command grab? the range seemed insanely far to me. i thought for sure i wasnt even close to the CG range but i got hit twice by it from far away. i am just curious about it.
harvey: since you seem to be playing nothing, would you like to start playing 3s with me again? i think i wanna get back into the game.
Good match turtler, I think our match was the best of the tournament. All the rounds were pretty close. At the end of the last round, I noticed a sudden shift in your playstyle since we were both down to about 20%. This is worse news for Ken that it is for Q, since I had a couple taunts in. Anyway your playstyle got a lot more defensive, like you started to turtle up(no pun intended 
). At that point I knew I would be able to grab you with the command grab. The roundhouse version of C&DB (Q’s command grab) has the most range of any “traditional” throw move in the game, More than gigas even. This doesn’t count weird stuff like alex’s spiral DDT or oro’s EX SA1 grab. So no, I did not kara the grab, but you were at the very extreme edge of grab range. I wasn’t sure it was going to hit either, but I thought it was worth the risk since I would be able to survive another low forward shippu from you.
I think one of the main reasons I did so well is that nobody in Houston had played a real Q player before. A lot of Q’s game is about tricks, like the his stupidly long kara throw, or baiting attacks and punishing with Critical Combo. I went to the tournament set on using Oro, but in the end it looked like I was just putzing around with Oro and Q was really my business character. Anyway good match again, I really enjoyed the 3S tournament.
good match. i saw you playing ORO in the tourney earlier. i was actually hoping to play against your oro because my bud plays oro sa1 or 2 and i know what to do in that matchup. oh well, see you next regionals, hopefully. the next regionals should be early/mid january. peace

I’d have played SA3, but it doesn’t really matter now. I don’t really like playing against Ken with Oro, I’ve always felt like Q is a better match-up for Ken.
