Planning on putting a lot more time into Ryu rather than Honda recently. Gotta get some good local practice in soon. Anyone around this weekend? I’m in Madison, but wouldn’t mind going to Sioux Falls or Brookings.

I work until 5:30 on Fridays now, too. So if I come down, It’ll be later than usual.
Alright, so we’ve got a plan coming today for some fighting game action on Saturday, Sept. 14th at my place, from 2:00 PM to… whatever works for people I suppose. Got a couple of people in already, so if you can make it let me know. 
Also, next “more official” Friday Night Fights is on Friday, September 20th @ 6:00 PM until whenever. So plan on that being a thing as well.

Just as a heads up, apparently there is a small Injustice tournament at Galaxy Gaming on Sunday, December 8th @ 1:00 PM (Registration opens at 12:30 PM that day). It looks like it’s $10 to get in, and flat prize pools - $100 for first, $50 for second, some headphones for 3rd (?). I’m not sure what the format is, seems to be 2/3 rounds, but not sure about DLC characters, stage selection, or if it’s double/single elim. I’m pushing for double, but no word as of yet.
Just putting the information out there. There is a facebook event page for it, but the problem is that it’s currently invite-only, so… unless you know someone on facebook that’s going, you can’t see the details. I sent a message to the guy who is hosting it, hoping he’ll change it so I can spread the link around. But for now, it’s here.
Sounds like fun. Might need to buy the game and give it some practice time, I’ve only played it a little with a friend, I don’t really understand the competitive side. Not a big fan of the chain system, seems like a lot to learn across the cast. If nothing else it’d probably be worth it to just pick up a character with some stupid tricky gimmick and see how far I can get with that.
